In a tornado warning and here I am on N4M! My computer is in the basement so at least I'm safe lol
Now that is dedication... Us diehard Minnesotan's we are use to the screwy weather.. Stay safe.. Just been raining most of the afternoon..
Thank you no tornado's very windy and hard rain. Was kind of scary for awhile, but we made it without a scratch. Thank goodness!
Just talked with my daughter also and she confirmed DIV 154 BS 21 date. Can't post the info on here since it isn't a closed group, so you will need to delete your post above and repost your comments without the BS 21 info. It must be private messaged. I sent the info to diannep so she can get all the BS 21 info together and private message to everyone in the PIR group. Glad you got a call from your son. It is always great to hear their voices. Hugs and have a great day.
Glad you got a call too! :)
Hi ladies just got off the phone with my boy!! He sounded amazing! Says the div is doing very well and he is making some good friends. He also said he can't wait to go to Buffaloo Wild Wings. Was just the ray of sunshine I needed on this gloomy Minnesota day. 12 days and I will be on my way to him!
There are 17 girls in our Division 154??! OMG My Son must be in heaven!! LOL
LOL! We just have the names of 17 girls. I think there may be more. I had asked my daughter to send me names of girls in her division that may either not be receiving mail or just needed extra encouragement. I was expecting 3 or 4 names. She sent me 15! I sent postcards to all 15 + a letter to my daughter yesterday. I am adding another 2 postcards to that tomorrow for her friend Paige and Momship's son, Mike. Told Momship & am going to tell her son that his mom ORDERED us to write. lol. He is in our brother division (153).
Hello everyone! What a great day today has turned out to be! :) Watched my 3rd oldest daughter graduate from High School! Before the ceremony began I was panicked realized I forgot my cell phone :( Thanks to my sweet husband who ran home real quick before the graduation began! My Mothers intuition was working great today :) Brianna called during the ceremony...didn't see it the first time 1/2 hour before she tried calling the second time which I also missed, but noticed the light on my phone was on to let me know I missed a call! I was pretty sad there for a few minutes knowing I missed her call...twice today didn't figure she would get time to call again! But she did call back one more time so we got to talk for a few minutes...and she left messages on all of our cell phones for us also:) She said she is doing great! Div lost 25 minutes worth of call time because they were not marching correctly...but otherwise doing great! She said final PFA will be on Monday (I thought it was yesterday) And told me when Battle Stations will be :) All in all its been a great weekend spent with lots of family and friends at my daughters graduation party last night...graduation today...and phone call from Brianna today! :)
Finally got my call!!! I happened to be working my 2nd job this weekend and took a late lunch - thank god I did as it was during my lunch that my son finally called. I got the "Hey momma bear - its me!" I started crying in the food court of our local mall. Hearing his voice put every concern I was having along with the anxiety of not hearing from him at rest. He sounded so grown up and so very happy. He gave battleship information which i have private messaged diannep with. He mentioned that they are taking their last PFT this week before battlestations and that being in the integrated division can make things interesting at times. He said the he has changed bunkmates a couple of times since first arriving and that everyone else has too. Today's phone call was the best mother's day present I could have ever asked for. I hope everyone else that hasn't gotten a call got their phone also. He did mention that after battlestations they will be able to use the phone a little more often. May 18 - CANNOT GET HERE SOON ENOUGH!
