Boot Camp Mom's Prayer

God bless my recruit as he meets this day

I pray that he has the strength to find his way

As reveley wakes him so loud and clear

I pray your love will lead him, and he will show no fear

If there's danger and if there's strife

Please send Angels to guard his life

Keep him safe and hold him near

Bless my recruit, I hold him dear

Until he moves on to PIR day

Bring peace to our hearts

And strength to our faith

(Many thanks to our own 'teeny' for sharing!)

Jaimers thanks for the introducton. Congratulations on your new sailor! Looking forward to talking to you.   Enjoy PIR!!!

Only 9 more days ladies...

Thanks Jaimers, Looking forward to the next chat group with all these wonderful ladies and more from Div 812.

hi Jaimers,  looking forward to the next group.  I am excited for my sr.

9 more days ladies!!!!!!!!!!!

SWWC'Em  will post pictures of my ribbons later today.

sjtina:  nope dont care how he looks!!!!  I am going tohang it proudly.  he is the first in our family to go into the military.

Not that I'm counting or anything but............8 more days!

Jaimers, thank you! I will be looking forward to getting to know the DIV 812/Class 2 9 7 moms/families as well! :) Safe travels and I hope you have a wonderful time at PIR.

sjtina-- will you also be joining Jaimers group (or perhaps you're already a member)? Like you and teeny, I don't care what the picture of my SR looks like it's going up on the wall!

teeny-- love the poem and thank you for sharing! I can't wait to see your ribbons! I went and got most everything for mine as well. Had the hardest time finding black ribbon of all things. I did find some red, white and blue ribbon and I think I'll end up trying to put a little bit of that in the 'back' (it may look awful). I'm impressed that you're already done with 'em! :)

Have a wonderful day ladies! :)

SWCC'Em,  yes I will be in Jaimers group to help get her up and running.

Jamiers Thanks so much for volunteering to be our guidepost for the next part of our journey here.   Let's us know how things go at your PIR.   Congrats on the new Sailor in your family.

Ladies, Keep your phones close by tonight and tomorrow.   Can't wait to see all your smiling faces at PIR next week!

I've got his bag packed.  How bout you ladies? If I could remember the dancing symbols... I would put them right here.

(_l_) (_/_) (_l_) (_\_)  there you go S:  there is your happy dance  LOL

Hey ladies! How was everyone's weekend? It's most of our last full week's left (since next week will be filled with traveling) Are ya'll EXCITED!!??? :) I sure know I am! SO beyond ready to see my SR! They've accomplished so much as a group and they have worked extremely hard to have such a great name to their DIV. If I were to put myself into any of their shoes, I surly couldn't do it. They are such brave, strong, and intelligent men/women. I know they're more than ready for PIR just as we are and they sure have earned it! Can't wait to meet some of you ladies and us all be proud together :) We've all had such crazy journeys adjusting to all the Navy throws at us, and learning about this lifestyle altogether. If it weren't for ya'll I'd be clueless and I have ya'll to thank for everything I've learned myself and for us all being so kindhearted and open with each other. We have built bonds in a time of needing one another for strength and to celebrate the happier times such as "letter/phone call days"! Hope you're all smiling while packing your suitcases like I am! It's almost here :) YAY!!!! :)

Nice job on your Divisional Discussion ladies!

SWCC'Em...nice set up for your Discussion...it's like a group within a group!

TY to the "veteran" BC SPECOPS moms who stuck around to help!
