Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hey there! Just a place for family of SRs in Ship 09 (USS John F Kennedy) Division 146 to get together and chat, ask questions, and discuss whatever. :)  I'm new to this, so anyone who has a heads up on anything regarding the ribbons (LaLa Ribbon Queen I believe is who we need to contact) and stuff like Sarge's Meet-and-greet, feel free to enlighten the rest of us!

Hubs sent me a message on FB. They got to go to "recruit heaven" but weren't allowed to make calls :( He at least got me the details on when he leaves. :( he has the early flight saturday morning. i hate driving around chicago, but if it gets me and the kiddo a few more hours with him, so be it! :)

Remember when all of this first started, and you were jealous looking at the long list of PIR groups having graduation WAAAY before our sailors??  On our way to Chicago, ladies!!!

Nothing like hanging in a room full of new sailors at 3 in the morn. Haha

The most beautiful weekend! So Proud and Happy! It was just amazing see my husband matching w his div. <3

So anyone get any good pictures of our division? All mine were dark or blurry (guess the camera just couldn't handle trying to take pictures with so many flashes going off).

Fine here! School going well for hubs. Still have a months or two til he starts A-school. Almost there! Lol
How have you been? And how is everyone else doing? Not sure if anyone else still visits this group.
