Thanks so much for the info - my son is in Ship 09 - Division 166.  I got my 3rd letter last Thursday and it was wonderful.  I love seeing his handwriting on the envelope - I've never seen it so neat.  It was great to hear about them passing the Marlin Spike - Congrats!

hello everyone!!!! new to this site but my sister is on ship 09 div 166. received a letter from her today not very long=(... but happy to know she is fine and well. can't wait for her PIR. PROUD of her!!!! hope to see  and meet with all you guys at the meet and greet...

Ya'll are the best.  My son is not known for his writing. I have received two letters and haven't received a call. I figure no news is good news but it is so nice to receive information from you. Thank you!

so any moms of girls in this division, my daughter says she has made friends with a bunch..not sure I can mention last names so msg me and we can share...

I got another letter! They got their Compartment flag and were up for their Drill flag and Test 2 on Wednesday. He also told me their date for Battle Stations. Message me if you would like me to let you know.

Hi ashers99 please accept me as a friend so I can msg you...really want to know the battle station day.thanks for the info. Ttyl.....

Ashers99 - My son is Ship 09 Div 166 - I would like to know the date for Battle Stations.

I got a letter & mothers day card from my Sailor yesterday!!! Her letters are so enthusiastic!! She said they had live fire this wk (which was last wk), firing 9mm & 12 gauge shot gun. Test 2 & drill assessment next. They are trying to get Hall Of Fame (Flame)!! Good luck to Ship 09 Div 166!!!!! My card was beautiful!!! Couldn't stop crying.. she missed the 1st call home, because she was on watch. I really NEED to hear her voice :/ I miss my baby girl so much!!!!

My son was in ship 2, div 927 with a PIR of 5/18. He got in trouble so they are holding him back 2 weeks and now he is in div 166 with June 1 PIR. Unfortunately now i cant make his graduation. i hope all the illnesses have passed and everyones recruit is doing well.

Our SRs got their Drill Flag and a scholastic pennant last Wednesday! They also earned Independent Esteem meaning they did so well on drill that they march on their own, without an RDC and the Guidon gets a "mellow pennant." Hooyah 166!

That is so good to hear. My daughter was worried that they would not get the drill flag. She really wanted to be able to march on their own.

Has anyone bought their SR a graduation gift yet?? I've seen charm bracelets, watches, rings, coins.. haven't made my mind up yet. Does anyone on here know of any other unique gifts??
