Briannas Mom and Imazzorana- Soooo glad you both got to talk to your SR! There is no better feeling then answering the phone and hear"Mom".

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

lmazzorana- How wonderful. Momma bear...I like that! I am so excited about PIR right now, I'm positively giddy! lol.

I thought their final PFT was going to be on Friday but my daughter said they did their weights and body fat taping on Friday.  Their actual 1 1/2 mile run, push-ups & sit-ups are tomorrow. She said she failed the last PFT because she missed her run time by 1 SECOND!  She ran it in 15:31 instead of 15:30.  She said that is okay though because she now has her run time down to 15 minutes and under. We will pray for NO phone calls tomorrow.

We are almost there ladies. Our SR's are awesome individuals and I'm proud of all of them. Hope you all have a great rest of the weekend.

I have a 16yr old and 7yr old that will be coming with me to PIR. I s it ok for them to attend Sarges meet and greet also?

I have no idea. I don't have any children coming with me, so hadn't thought about it. My SR is my youngest.  If you haven't posted that question on the main page of this discussion board or on Bootcamp Mom's discussion board, why don't you post it there so maybe one of the veteran mom's can answer that for sure. Great question and I am sure there are going to be others that might want the answer to that also.

I'm pretty sure that I read on Sarge's page, that all family, including children were welcome!  Check out Sarge's page.

Got the email saying that my division t-shirts have been shipped. Very excited to see them.

Okay, Ladies. Keep your phones close today. We should be getting our "I'm a Sailor" calls this afternoon. I will post on here as soon as I get mine. Please post when you get your call. I am so excited I can hardly stand myself! lol

I am keeping this "window" open today! Hopefully we'll all get calls today!

Got my call. She's a sailor! Have you received your calls yet?

Congratulations to all the new sailors and their proud parents!
