Hi BatmansMom!  No I haven't heard anything from my SR lately!  I got a letter dated April 29 a few days ago.  The division t-shirts are a replica of the flag that each division designs themselves.  If you look at the different posts on the main page there is a link to where you would order them from.  I believe I read where you can order them at PIR also?  Our division's flag is quite out there - you may want to see it before you order.  There must be a story behind it.  I don't think I will ever wear mine!  haha!  I believe the company is out of Texas.  Welcome to the group - hope to meet you at PIR!  Are you going? and are you going to any of the meet and greets?  We are going to Sarge's.

Thanks for the info on the T-shirt. Hope to see you as well! I'm not rue if we are going to meet and greets, we are leaving the decisions up to our Son. I'm sure he wants us to meet, what has been his family the last 8 weeks....lol!

Hello BatmansMom!! The Meet & Greet is on Thursday, May 17th...the night before the PIR.  It's so the families can meet other families as well as get a lot of great information regarding what to expect at PIR, after PIR, things to do in the area, etc.  I have made a banner to distinguish our division at the Meet & Greet and other divisions have too.  I am going to friend you so that I can send you a picture of the banner as well as the very strange division design for their flag that was put on the tee shirts.  Once you friend me, I can copy the pictures to you.

Hope to see you at Sarge's Meet & Greet.  If you cannot make it, please let me know your last name and your son's first name because I am going to have all the families write their SR's name on one of the stars.

Ok! I'm just learning how o navigate through the site, so it's taking me a min....lol! Ok we will be there at the meet and greet. We will be leaving Ohio on Wednesday evening. Please send me the pics. I'm really sad that I'm just getting connected it would have been nice to gave this outlet the last 7weeks!

BatmansMom....I've sent you a private message with a picture of the banner and the division flag design.

Do you know where your SR is going for A School?

He is going to Florida the last I heard. What about yours?
Does your SRget liberty the whole weekend or does he fly out the next day?

I don't know when he will be flying out yet.  More than likely, they will be flying out early Saturday. :(  I'm really hoping that they don't fly out until Sunday though.  My SR will be going to Groton, CT.  His rate is Electronic Technician and he will be doing it on submarines.  What is your SR's rate?  I sure wish my son was going to Pensacola.  I have a twin sister that lives close to Pensacola and my parents have a second home down there too.

I hope they leave Sunday too. My Sr's rate is Aviation Specialist at the Naval Air Test Centers. He will be stationed in either Florida, Virginia, or Texas. I'm praying for VIRGINIA it's not far from home....8-)

I live in Maryland.  Where in Virginia do you live?

We live in Ohio, and Viginia is much closer than Florida and Texas.

Hello all and a happy early Mothers Day!! My son is going to Pensicola also. I'm guessing he will be flying out early saturday morning...He's hoping to be stationed in Texas, Florida, or San Diego. I'm hoping Texas as that is where we live.
