I have chatted with a few of you with children going on to Goose Creek for NUKE school. I figured that since we will be following each other around for awhile we could get to know each other here first.

My husband is also a Nuke. I will be moving to live on base with him after PIR!
I'm a wife too! We are going to be living on base also!!
We are moving from Illinois, but dang California thats a loooong haul! Sometimes they have a few weeks until A school starts after they graduate, so we'll hope! I have actually started talking to another wife that I found on here. Her husband is graduating June 8th, so she'll be arriving and living on base shortly after us!
Queenjailyle--thanks for thinking of this! You're right, we'll have about 20+ months of this after all the schools and boot camp, and in downtime in between schools!
Ashers99--that's exciting that you'll be moving on base! We'll be hittting you up for all the news when they are there! :)
Thanks Queenjailyle; It is so great that we are able to be here to support each other when we can't be there... I still haven't gotten a first letter.. I can get glimpses of what is going on from you guys :-)
My son will be going there, and I'm sure during that time I will be visiting at least once or twice. So to the nuke wives, we can get together for lunch and sightseeing!
Have any of your SRs called home to get more information for his/her security clearance?
not mine...but some of the others that are in the same ship/div as my SR have called for more information.
Just curious if anyone has found out their SR's Nuke rates yet? My husband said the div 165/166 were posted by as of the middle of last week they hadn't sent a runner to go get them so he wasn't sure.
Found out this weekend that husband is going to be an MM!
