Boot Camp Mom's Prayer

God bless my recruit as he meets this day

I pray that he has the strength to find his way

As reveley wakes him so loud and clear

I pray your love will lead him, and he will show no fear

If there's danger and if there's strife

Please send Angels to guard his life

Keep him safe and hold him near

Bless my recruit, I hold him dear

Until he moves on to PIR day

Bring peace to our hearts

And strength to our faith

(Many thanks to our own 'teeny' for sharing!)

We're staying at the Hilton Garden

Hi All

Swcce'm you read my mind! I was on here around 2 this morning after I finished making my ribbons (can't rush these things) and there was only a post from Jaimers. By the way thank you so much Jaimers for helping us with the next phase of this journey!

Going crazy trying to get ready! hope I don't forget anything!

Cait_J and I made our ribbons and if I say so myself, they turned out pretty good :)

I am sure they are great!!!!!!!!!

OMG Ladies, only 3 more days! I leave Thursday morning and I don't know if I can stand it any longer. The closer we get, the more I get flustered and excited and crazy to leave! Can't wait to leave!!! I wish I had heard about this site before, then I could have ordered a LaLa's ribbon. My Sailor told me he got me a division tshirt, and that "one of his friends" designed it. It's so nice to hear that he has made friends, I hoped he would and knew he would, but he was hesitant (wanted to stay focused) but now to hear him say he has friends throughout this experience and wants to go to dinner with some of them, is awesome! But was I was meaning to say, would he have had the shirts sent to the house or do we pick them up on base?

OMG I still need to print out my parking pass, (of course, at school and left all my information from the packet at home so I need to remember to print it out before Wednesday night), I need to go get my nails done and have them painted, I unfortunately have bright blue at home, not navy. I need to pack for myself and my son, do last minute shopping and then focus on school. AHHHHH, I can't focus on anything, I am just so excited to see my Sailor!!!!!! I can't wait to meet everyone.

I am hoping to make it to the meeting on Thursday night, I have an online class session that meets 530-850, so I am hoping that I can either bug out of it or send someone else in my place (his mom or sister) to meet with everyone at the Sarge's meeting! Ah, I don't want to miss it though! I will be at the Starbucks meeting, I am soooo excited to meet everyone!

Okay, enough of my ranting, my fingers just keep going, even they are excited! 3 more days ladies, 3 more days!!! We did it, they did it, we all did it!

cnic  I made my own ribbons.  but you will be ok.  good luck with your class.  .  I say the same thng.  only 3 more Days!!!!!

I got my nails done today.  and i hav eto finish packing tomorrow. but only work a half a day so i can get it all done.

3 more days!!!

We leave tomorrow to start driving that way... I am keeping my fingers crossed that we'll be there in time to make it to Starbucks so that we (Cait_J and I) can meet you all!!

To borrow from teeny, we're doing the  (_l_) (_/_) (_l_) (_\_)   Happy Dance!!! Can't wait to see you all!!

I hate missing any party, EVER, and to miss the Starbucks and surges is killing me, but I didn't know when we made flt reservations. I sure hope I get to connect anyway with some of you somehow. I am so psyched, I haven't slept in days. Tomorrow is my packing and nail day. We leave thursday evening :( wish it was earlier.

So nice to hear everyone back online.......I miss hearing from my girls!

Sounds like we're all in the same boat, painting nails doing laundry trying to not forget anything.  I can hardly believe it's finally time to pack!  2 More Days till we see our Sailors.

See you soon!

Happy 22nd birthday to my little sailor! Was overwhelmed and proud then, overwhelmed with pride today. CAN'T imagine how proud we all will be in 2 more days!!!!!

Happy Birthday to your SR  njwhitney!!!!!

Happy Birthday to your son. :)
