My son is Ship 9, Div 209.  Does anyone have a SR in this Div?  I have not received the form letter yet.  I'm thinking his PIR will be 7/13.  Does anyone know if this is correct?

My son is Ship 9, Div 210 according to his recruiter!  I haven't received the letter yet either.  I am so hoping for a 7/6 PIR!!!

I don't want to wait another week.  Especially when I see that people that arrived on the same day as him (May 8th) have 6/29 PIR's!!  The waiting is making me crazy

Chadsmom - I hear ya.  My son also arrived on 5/8.  I guess I don't quite understand how they determine the date of PIR.  I've seen some for 6/29 and 7/6 when they arrived on the same day.  I'm just thinking since the 6th is the holiday weekend, it would make for easier travel since I'm driving from PA.

PA huh?  My son says he's going to live in Pittsburgh for a year if he doesn't make the Navy a career.  We're in California so we'll be flying!  I was looking PIR dates on the website and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to how many divisions there are in each one.  (I'm sure there is rhyme and reason to someone, somewhere....)  Some have like 7 divisions going through and then the 6/29 PIR date has like 11.  I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that 210 is included in the 7/6 date.  My husband just can't possibly fathom that they would have a whole two weeks between PIR dates for kids who all arrived on the same day (LOL), but I'm a little nervous.  With my luck it will be 7/13.....Cannot wait to see my boy!

Hello,

My son is Ship 9-Division 209 too.  I don't know the PIR either.  I have only received the box but not the form letter yet.  I did get his address from the recruiter and have been sending a few letters already.   Did your son leave out of Dallas?

My son left out of PA.  Join the 7/6 group as Jessica suggested.  I guess our PIR is the 6th.  I can't wait just to hear from him!

here is the link for the 7/6 PIR group...will have div 205 and up and/or 815 934

Thanks Jessica.  I joined the 7/6/12 group.

Hi there, finally got my "form letter" today after 10 very long days.  So very happy to see my daughter's handwriting and a short "love ya'll" on it!!  It's the little things right now.  Anyway, looks like she is ship 09 division 209 and will be teaming up with this crew!!  So, glad to have someone moms to share that with...thank you!!
