I think I would like to.

We would love to go to the Meet and Greet. Is it by DIV or everyone?  My son also said he was enjoying it.  I think it's the 815 way!  Just wait boys.....

The M&G is for everyone who has someone graduating. My son said that they haven't done anything hard. I think our SR's are saying this because they had to work so hard before they even got there. So I think they are all physically prepared.

When is the M&G?

DId your SR write a lot about what is really going on?  Mine had little to say except was excited about the what is to come and that it was going pretty well. Anyone have any more info?

Mine just said that there are some fun parts & some parts that aren't so fun. Totally agree with TmSwitz tho about how hard they have worked just to get there, mine just wants bc over & on to BUDS prep & BUDS. Haven't gotten a letter yet & I think I read it would be a couple weeks before they can send letters.

My son didn't say much except that he likes the guys  in his class, and they haven't done anything tough yet. I believe BC will be a cake walk for them, being that they have been busting their butts so hard  already. Besides the hardest part will great them in CA.

My son also was very prepared and ready for BUDS to get here! He said it wasn't too bad yet either...but then again, it had only been 2 days!

drjclary, eventually you will get letters with some more detail. Thursday's always seem to be a good mail day for moms, since they collect letters on Sunday and mail out on Monday. Also it takes awhile since they have to train someone in the division to do that job.

I was reading the form they sent us and noticed that if their "A" school is not in GL, they will have to leave the day after graduation. So I'm wondering if we only get to see them after graduation?

I'm not sure. I read that also but I believe BUDS prep is in GL, unless your SR isn't going for SEAL, not sure about SWCC

My son is SWCC, so I really have no idea if he stays in GL longer or not. I'm just going to budget for a few extra days.
