There are several pictures of the 168 on there...including one of my son!!!  I'm so happy and excited I'm crying!  He is in picture 5 of 55.  If anyone wants to friend me on FB I was the first one to comment on that picture.  They look SOOO good marching along and singing cadences.  I hope some of your sons or sweethearts are in the pictures too.

That was the first place I went this afternoon!  And what a surprise, there they are! Would love to add you to my facebook!  I am so relieved!

Cindy

Katlin look for Dylan!

Thanks for the heads up.  I had already checked at least twice today before the pictures were up and was so excited to see your post.  My son is in picture 6 of 55!  I sent you a friend request on FB.

I think one of the pictures includes my son.  A mom would recognize her son's jaw line anywhere?  Right?  Also, Matt said the gas chamber was torturous.  I can't wait to see all our sons/daughters!  So proud!

Oh that sad to hear about the gas chamber! (James)Dylan wrote to me that it sucked but he was the only one that wasnt coughing or snotting afterwards so he had to lead all the groups out of the chambers when they were done! Haha I guess he got lucky!

And it was very exciting to see all the pictures! I hope they post more of them soon! :)

I think I saw on another post on the facebook page that bronchitis is spreading through our division, I know Dylan (hehe James) said he had it in his last letter I got.  Hope it has passed and that none of our guys got sidetracked with it.  Glad the gas chamber is over and way to go son of mine!  Days left please fly by! And Katlin girl.... couldn't help but laugh regarding the PDA guidelines!  ;)

Larisa and anyone else interested, would love to keep these conservations going after PIR. So friend me on facebook if you want.

Yes the PDA guidelines. It's sad they have to put guidelines on it because of all the people who don't know how to act respectfully in public! Dylan and I have never had an issue with PDA! And leave it up to Mitch to post them! HAHA! I hope I get to meet them soon! Only 8 more days!

I didn't mean any disrespect, I just wanted to make sure that you were aware that something as simple as holding hands is a big no-no while he is in uniform.  I know first hand how it feels to have not seen your man in a while and the first time you see them they are in uniform and you have to settle for a small hug.  My husband and I were both USAF so we knew the rules, and we were never ones to make a display either.  Also just so you know, the guidelines that were posted /comments were almost correct.  He can not put his left arm around you like someone said, since you can't hold hands he can offer you his left arm and then when you put your hand on his arm he can put his hand over yours.  If you do walk on his right side make sure that you give him enough elbow room so that he can snap a salute at every passing officer.

Thinking I need to read that info too, I am one of those huggy/kissy types! Not in a weird way :)

No, NO No! You did nothing wrong! :) I know you were just making sure I knew! I appreciated it! I just think its funny that people need set rules in life! Someone is always bound to ruin it for the rest of us! Yeah its funny I used to always ask him to walk with me like that and he never would and now he does. :D yeah those people who commented on that link must have misread the guidelines, I understood what they meant by offering his left arm.. like the classical way to walk with a lady! :) LOL

Plus I wold be too embarrassed to kiss him in front of his parents and family! :) Not because I am embarrassed of him, thats not the case at all... I just don't like to be that way in front of others because I know how uncomfortable it makes me feel when others do that in front of me.

Well, bless Dylan for being that man for them there.  He probably helped my boy.  :)

I got another letter today! It was not as upbeat as all the other ones have been.:( He said they were supposed to get calls this last sunday but some of the guys didn't do as well on the inspection as the RDC's expected. Dylan also said they were made to stand at attention all day except for chow and head breaks on Saturday. He also said he was really worried about his 3 test on Tuesday and then battlestations. Last week he seemed really up beat and positive about it. I know he was really looking forward to getting to make calls on Sunday, so I am sure he was pretty annoyed when he wrote the letter! I believe battle stations is tomorrow and Friday! So lets hope they pull through and everyone gets to graduate! :)
