Just sent a copy of the N4M questionnaire found in the dicussion form to my son. I know it will not only make him smile but I can get the 411 about the division and his experience. I know my son does not like to give a great deal of detail, so the questionnaire should help. Really soon to ask but has anyone heard from their recruit other than the form letter? Recognizing that they are extremely busy, I look forward to hearing from them.

Thank you PenguinChick, support is so important. I was beginning to feel all alone... I will hang in and now you have given me a little more strength. :)

SRMcJmom...I am feeling the exact same way :(

SRJcJmom--Hang in there!  The call will come!  Mine was on Thursday, and we only had about 7 mins to talk, and you could here someone counting down loudly in the background "2 minutes", then "30 seconds", and he was so quick to go so he wouldn't get in trouble.  So I'm sure they have to divide up the recruits on different days to fit them all in...Hopefully any day now you will hear from him!  He did say this division was really coming together and working well as a team!  :)

My SR said their Petty Officers have a sweet tooth. Anyone else want to help sending care packages to this division's Petty Officers, send me a message. :)

Happy Mothers Day to all you Fantastic Moms on Ship 11 Div 167. Only 18 days left !!! I am getting sooo excited!! I wonder if we will get any phone calls today...

That would be awesome. I missed the first call on the arrival night because my cell never rang, just informed me that I had a voicemail. Then when his div was given calls a couple of weeks ago, he was standing watch so he missed out. It would be heaven to hear his voice today!

I was hoping they would get to call on Mother's Day, too! When he called the day after (Monday), I wasn't home (was at work) but he got to talk to his dad, sister and 2 brothers for half an hour. He was in great spirits and very excited about the upcoming week (gas chamber, fire fighting training, etc.)

Oh my!! We just received a letter today from the Navy telling us that our son was selected as Honor Graduate for Division 167!!!  I AM BURSTING WITH PRIDE!!!!!

That is awesome! Congratulations to a proud navy mom!

Congrats mom! I think thats what my SR was up for but didnt pass. He said it was some stupid hair out of place or something. LOL Great job!

Congrats, what a special honor on an already special day!

Anyone find our division on the Navy RTC FB page? There are lots of pics and I tried to scan thru them but am afraid I'm gonna get hammered for looking on FB at work. ;-) Blue candles lit tonite!!!
