:(

Has anyone heard anything about the Battlestations yet?  I am anxious to hear from our kids.

We won't get our calls until tomorrow afternoon....keep that phone handy!  If you have any questions you can send me a private message.

They haven't even started battlestations yet -- That date you were given that it will happen will start at 8pm on that date go through until 8am the following morning-  It won't be very long at all now and we will be getting the "I'm a Sailor" calls

Janet

Just got my "this week was hell" letter from my son.  He explains that Battlestations starts today.  Our son sounds like the other recruits - totally defeated.  Let's pray Battlestations goes well.  I know they are ready.  See you at the PIR.

Good evening everyone. I had to delete a couple of my posts because I put too much personal info on them.  BIG OOPS!

In process of making a handful of mementos for PIR on June 1st.  I can be found on facebook or send me a private message here if you are interested.  Basically... stained glass wearable pendants with our loved ones SHIP/Division and Great Lakes Seal. :)  Cindy

Hi! I'm a girlfriend to a recruit (Patrick) on this division too! I've been snickily following all of this but I decided I would join in on the fun! I got two letters from Patrick today! Pretty much all he had to say was this past week was hell. I cannot believe that tomorrow it will be a week until PIR! Time has definitely flown :)

Katey.marie;

you should have joined us long ago...we welcome everyone who has an SR in this division.  I received a letter from my son today, he (like most of the others) was very unhappy about the extra standing. He is looking forward to Battlestations and especially the phone call afterwads.

It seems that most of us are going to Sarge's meet-n-greet the night before PIR....I hope to see you there.

Where is your boyfriend going for his A school?

He's staying in Great Lakes for A school! For 14 weeks! :)

Welcome aboard Katey marie!

Just heard from Matthew.  They are sailors.  Battlestations was not as difficult as they thought it would be.  Congratulations to our new sailors!

Yeah-- Got the much awaited phone call-- My son is a Sailor now-  I am so proud of him and of all the rest of Division 168 he said everybody passed.  He said they are all exhausted and he can't wait until 8 tonight when he can go to sleep.

Congrats to all of our new sailors and can't wait until PIR-- See ya all then or at Sarge's on Thursday night.
