And the phone calls continue!!!!  Katlin and I both got our calls from James (Dylan) and all I could do was cry and repeat over and over I am so proud of you and I love You!  As others have said everyone passed after a very long/trying week.  Relief now!  So proud the division came together in the end and eveyone passed!

Cindy

HOOYAH our boys are sailors!!!! They all did a great job, and my son is promoted to an E-2.   I am so proud of my son and all the young men in Division 168.  Can't wait til PIR, it can't get here soon enough.

So, so proud of your son's promotion!  Awesome.

he called (and I missed it) twice today! He's officially a sailor. When I saw I missed the call I started crying so my manager sent me home...hahaha, so excited to see him in ONE WEEK!

Oh Katey!  At least we can breath better now.

I missed mine too; I cannot stop crying!  He tried to share his proudest moment with me, and I was unavailable.  I feel so horrible.  I don't know what to do.  Will he get another chance to call?  Please help me.

Oh so sorry Larisa64e but maybe I can give you some good news according to my son this weekend is Recruit Heaven.  He said that they will be able to go on facebook and call home a couple of times.  So I will keep my fingers crossed that you hear from your recruit over the weekend.

Thank you for that, Tylersmom!  I have been processing my feelings and thoughts; I just feel like I let him down, and I hope he is not as disappointed as I am imagining.  I will stay by the phone all weekend until I hear from him.  I'm pretty sure my husband thinks I'm overreacting, but a mom knows her son's heart in a way many dads just don't get.  Thank you again for your comforting words.  :)

Hugs Larisa!  James (Dylan) told me basically the same thing about this weekend....  hey check your facebook ;)

Thank you so much!  I am on there now!  :)

FYI people, our division is getting internet and phone calls until 8 p.m..  A couple of them have had online appearances via messaging :)  Keep your phones handy and internet.  According to my son they have to pay for the internet time :(

Cindy

Yes...I got to chat with my son for over 30 minutes and he said that he would call me later tonight.  Larisa...I told him that your son didn't get ahold of you yesterday and that everyone needed to make sure that he got plenty of chances to call you today!  He said that he would try to find your son and give him the message.  Right now they are all loading up on fast food and sweets and sugary drinks...oh to be young and not have to worry about your waistline!
