We found out Friday that our son is in Ship 09 Div 210. We are so relieved to have an address to send him letters and a date for PIR to plan for. It was a long week and a half not hearing anything.
Here is a link to your facebook page for this division
Has anyone gotten a call yet. I recieved liked 5 or 6 letters & that held me over for one day lol I thought for sure with holiday weekend I would hear from Ken but nothing yet. Has anyone heard from their recruit????
Hi I'm Patty I completely know how you feel & I am certain you will get a letter soon since most of us just got our first. Also I would join our group on Facebook the other parents have been so wonderful!!!! If you need anything give me a shout!!! We are all here for each other
Hi, my name is Anne my granddaughter is in Ship 09- Div 210. I received a letter last week, and cried reading it.
lol I hear you I think I have read Kens letter 30 times already & every time I though K I wont get teary eyed this time & I did every time!!!! It's almost like you can tell even in this short time they have grown up even more!! Its amazing!!!!
I must admit I cry myself when I write to her and when I reread her letter tears flow non stop.
I know I was going crazy writing everyday running out of thing to say!! When I finally got her letter I wrote 16 page letter back. I finally stop because I kept falling a sleep & realized it was 4am lol It felt so good to respond to an actual letter!!!!
I find myself writing everyday some thing I told my granddaughter that she will have to read my mix up letter because I write everything and anything to share time with her.
lol I know I was thinking Ken is going to think this is random crazy letter because your afraid you will miss something you are sure they would want to know!!!
I think that it gives Amanda a good laugh when she reads some of my letters. She knows that I speak and sometimes go off on other subjects then return. I just want to bring her laughter and no stress. I also let her know that she does not have to write me because I realize there is so much she has to learn.
