I guess everyone in this graduation date got a letter (or I hope so!) I am so glad I found this site and knew what to expect from him! This sucks, our division has already lost xx amount of SR's due to dropping out, sickness blah. WE GET YELLED AT ALL THE TIME, I've never heard this kind of language (swearing) before and/or called these kinds of names!, Please pray for me!!! ... Whew, I didn't even cry! Thank Heaven for this support site!!!

So, what did I do? I called every Church; every Affiliation of Christian Church’s and put him on their prayer list!! So now I want you all to know I will add ALL SR in the Navy plus all of our Nation's soldiers and sailors to my personal prayer list. Whatever your domination or belief system is we need to stand together and support our recruit.

Two weeks down, eight to go!!

That sounds horrible!  I have been breaking down all day today and I think it's because my daughter and I are so connected and she is feeling the same as your son is.  I am so worried.  I haven't received a letter yet and my daughter has the same PIR date of 7/13/12.  She's in ship 11 div 213, what div is your son in?

Hopefully you'll get a letter soon, ours was sooner than I expected from what I've been reading here.  He says there is also a lot of ironing, funny.  We are ship 09 div 215.

Oh wow, I gave my daughter a quick ironing crash course before she left, but forgot to teach her how to iron pants (focused on shirts), she had never ironed before.....

I son is in div 816 and I got my letter from him yesterday 5/31/2012. He said they can write on Sunday morning when they have free time you should get yours soon

No letter yet, buy my SR called me yesterday!! :-) He is Ship 12/Div 219. It was so wonderful to hear his voice. He needed some family info for the background check for his security clearance. It was like a miracle that I got to talk with him today, I SO needed it. He said everything was going good, and that it is about like he expected, although he is sick (he said it comes with the territory of lack of sleep, run ragged, and in and out at all hours). He said it wasn't bad though, so all of you take heart - he didn't say anything bad about any of it. And from what we talked about, I got the impression that he was speaking freely. He did say that they took all of his letter writing stuff, and that Sunday will be the first opportunity to write letters if they earn it. So watch those mailboxes! Thanks to all of you for being there for me too!!
AMEN!!! My son Marcus is in the division. I still don't really know how to use this site.
