Hey =)

I had started a discussion at another place, but figured this was a better spot for it.  I just wanted to start a place where we could all chat that our children were in the same group.

My name is Candy and my son is a 4th generation sailor on his dad's side. I am so proud of him. His father was in the Navy and I was Air Force. He did a little bit of college and decided that it wasn't for him. He is going to Mississippi for A school to be a SeeBee builder.

So glad I was told about this site.

HAve any of you received your Sailors photo package, you think we will have them before graduation?  Four days and 15 hours!!!!! :)

My son said he was going to get them himself, and we could see them after PIR.  He called today saying he was really bored while waiting for the other divisions to finish Battlestations.  He didn't have much to say, but we can always keep him on the phone to talk about something.

As far as I know they are coming to our house thru fedex.  Not sure when, but hopefully before i leave for PIR.

ALL DONE, NEXT!!!!!!!

Yes.  It was so good to see him, and now he's on to the next step - San Diego.

Yep.. =)  mine is in Mississippi. He's been online a few times, and has called. It's been great to talk to him on a semi normal basis again. So proud of him. =)

Oh yes, he's been texting. Communication is so nice.  While waiting for school to start, he's more available to text.  That's been great.

Received the Keel book yesterday. Beautiful Cover on it. No, dvd yet.
