Hi everyone,
So my husband was supposed to graduate on June 1st from basic training and said he would be going to A school after but I am not sure if he did because I only spoke to him once since he was in basic training. I saw that he called me on Memorial Day but I am currently not in the United States and was not able to answer the phone because we are not allowed to use our phones at work. So I had it in my locker. When I saw that I had 7 missed calls from him I nearly died...What makes it worse is I noticed after work on Tuesday I had 10 missed calls from him. This is so frustrating...I really want to know while in A school can they use phones and do they have internet access? I really feel like I can't miss one more call from him. Does anyone know if they have restrictions on when they can make a call and such?

He can use his cell phone while at A School. However, for the first couple weeks he may have some restrictions as to when and how he will have access to the internet. Might depend a bit on which A School he has gone to.
He is at the one across from the basic training school in Great Lakes, Illinois...Thank you for your quick reply. I am thinking he have not yet received his phone from his God mother. That might be the delay. So I am happy to hear what might be the hold up. It makes me feel so much better now. Thank you!
They have the first few weeks which they are strictly controlled, from what my son said, even more of a pain than at Boot Camp. He also will have to go to a separate lounge to get internet access as they don't normally have it in their rooms.
