We have a division!!! Yay, I am super excited to get to know you all that have our SR's in the same division!

Please introduce yourselves! (no last names :)

I am Sharon. My daughter Erin is 21 and she came to bootcamp from Iowa. I live by myself, work as a dog groomer and I have a broken toe. I miss Erin so much but things are looking up! Got her form letter today. Got an 'I love you :) " on the back! I am so glad to know that Erin isn't alone. She is digging deep and working hard every day, and has your loved ones to help each other, learn from each other, and they are together in missing us like crazy too. And being a veteran, I know, their days are getting better each day too.

Next up.. our phone calls!! Next week? If not for sure the week after!. Looking forward to hearing from you all. Please friend me if ya want!

I heard from another Mom that they earned an academic flag for having the highest test scores on a test.

I'm not sure if I'm doing this right...my first post...but I am so excited about the phone call and I see that you all are too, so I decided to jump in! My SR called this afternoon and he sounded great. He had shared a lot of details in the letter we got last week (not his usual m.o.) so we had plenty to talk about.  I learned, though, that he got his wisdom teeth removed last Tuesday. Fortunately, it went well and he was able to eat a burger three days later. I'm glad I didn't know ahead of time that he was scheduled for the surgery. My worrying would have been a waste of time.

He said his three best buddies are Dustin, Zack and Kyle. Are their moms out there?

Hey Sweetpea! Welcome!. Thanks for coming out of the woodwork. We need more to chime in!

Glad his wisdom teeth didn't give him any problems! Erin had hers out a couple of years ago so I didn't have that worry. Are you going to PIR?

Yes! We've reserved the hotel - thanks to the good suggestions on this website - and made plane reservations, now we just need to rent a car. Can't wait!

Yay!

I'm sorry, Sherri, that you didn't hear from your SR. Maybe time ran out and the rest of the division will get to call tomorrow. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Sherri, I am so sorry :( I bet she had to stand watch. I pray they let her make up her phone call.

Hey Sherri, sorry you didnt get a call...If it makes you feel any better my daughter sai when I was talking to her that the PO was yelling and hentold everyone to get off the phones...she said some hadnt made there calls yet and prob woud tomorrow.... I think my daughter was talking about Kay tonight...she said the last name and I didnt know it...she said shes really nice and they r friends....

Hi! My boyfriend is Kyle and his mom hasn't joined the site yet so I've been keeping her updated everything navy! Who is your son? Kyle said he had made some really good friends!

You are a beautiful couple! (I'm assuming that's you and Kyle in your profile picture.) My son's name is Atticus. I hope you hear from Kyle soon and that you find out that he and my son have been helping each other through. Will you be going to PIR?

Yes that is the two of us in my picture! Atticus what an awesome name!! I get my letters on Thursdays but from what he has said he seems to have found a good group of friends. I can't believe how fast time has gone by! I will be going to PIR cannot wait! Where are you from?

I hope the guys think that time is passing quickly! Atticus has said that he has made some great friends, which thrills me because I'm sure that will help the time pass quickly and will help them all suceed.

My husband and I live in Nashville, TN. Our daughter's at Auburn so she will be coming to PIR from there. July 13 can't come soon enough for us either.
