Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Skippy - as hard as it is to watch them go, it is so exciting to watch them "fly" and you will be so proud at graduation!! We are here in Cleves. Our son graduated bootcamp in February and is now in school for the next year and a half - he LOVES it! Good luck to your son. If you need to talk while he is gone, message me and I'll be happy to private message you my number.

Skippy, Tracey, and the rest of the crew,
Keep us posted as you begin this next chapter of your Navy mom life. We've been through it- and I hope I speak for all - when I say -share with us the heartbreak, the frustration- and of course-the JOY! -
It's been 5 years since my son went through BC - but the memories feel like it was just lasy year. What an emotional stamp on the heart. If he needs letters - send me his address - I'd be happy to write a letter or two. The same offer goes for any other new recruit.
Plus I'd love to hear how BC has changed.
My son - now stationed in Kaneohe Bay, HI-is home June 25-July 6- I'd love to meet up with you guys sometime this summer. How does everyone feel about that?
