I agree, the list sjtina put on here is awesome.  25 days by my count--I cant wait!!!!!!!

Good morning all.  Only 23 more days for us!!  I reserved a rental car last night.  All reservations are made.  I'm so excited for PIR and ready for the next adventure in this process.  Looking forward to a letter today or tomorrow.

Did you rent your car from the airport or closer to great Lakes?  I have heard it is cheeper closer to the RTC?

As PIR is closing in, I wanted to post this as a reference for posting.

It's not appropriate or safe for your sons to post information here or anywhere else containing:

1. Dates or times.

2. Class Sizes, Drop Rates, or similar information.

3. Course content and info beyond that already supplied by the Navy on their Official Web site.

4. Photos of your sons in or out of uniform

5. Information that would allow someone to identify either you as a SEAL candidate mom or your son as a SEAL candidate

There will be a private group started for those of you who are continuing on to PreBuds. Since this will be a private group, you will have to request to join. One of the requirements is having you page settings set to private. Its easy, all you have to do is go to your page and change your privacy setting to "friends only". This will help speed up the process. If anyone has any questions, I will gladly help.

Thanks sjtina.

Thanks, will that group be for swcc as well or will there be a seperate  group?

NavyMom here is a link for the SWCC group, unless you already found it. I think that SWCC is really cool. I wish my son had picked that over SEALs. After seeing Act of Valor, I have a lot of respect for them.

My son had a SEAL c

got a letter today. My SR reports that it is starting to feel like home !

I wanted to add something to the list. Since the guys will be wearing dress whites. Bring some stain sticks or wet naps just in case. Every little thing shows up on them.

Two letters today!! One for Mom & one for Dad--hope the hubs doesnt mind I opened his too, I just couldn't stand it  =)

He says they are having some 'cabin fever' & he cant wait to "really" work out again!
