Momof3 this is awesome to hear! I don't get this many details. Thanks for sharing!

Wow had to go back 4 pages to catch up. I am so happy to hear of all the letters and potential phone calls. Which # phone call will this be?

I am not sure I mentioned this earlier, but I just want to mention that the instructors will be reading your posts. They will read them out loud and single out anyone who can be linked together. Its embarrassing for them and could cause additional PT. They have been doing this a long time and are good at it. Do not to mention names or specific things that have happened to your recruit. This is just making it easy for them.

PIR is the same for SWCC and PreBuds, they will have liberty for the weekend. The only difference is that those going to PreBuds will have to move right after PIR. You will get about 20 minutes to spend with him, and will have to come back later to pick him up. They need to be returned each night and the time depends on the instructors. Usually 8 or 9.

Thanks for the tip sjtina I deleted my previous post with name

Good idea. A lot of the moms in other groups starting using fake names when referring to their sons. Its give a personal touch to the posts. Quite humorous too.

Hey sjtina:

I found a link to the Meet and Greets ; one is at the Ramada, one at Flanagan's and one at Sarge's.  Any thoughts on these? Do we pick one for our 816 Division and suggest for all the N4M to come there so we can meet each other?  Thanks so much for all your help!!

Sarges Meet and Greet is the most popular. From what I have heard he supplies a ton of information for the families.

Wonderful!! Thank you!!

Oh MY GOODNESS!!!! I couldn't get on here quick enough!!! Get on Facebook. Search pages and like "Naval Service Training Command." They have pictures of RTC division 816!!!! Is that really us? I can't see my SR!!!????

Thanks for sharing Momof3. I did not see my SR either :( maybe next time!!

More Pictures on Facebook:-)

My son's fiancee found more pictures of Division 816 on Facebook. I believe the pics were uploaded about 7 hours ago.  Then again, I am probably behind (tutored this morning and grocery shopping) and all of you have seen these pics!

I have to learn to cut and paste the web address....but if you go to Facebook and type in Naval Recruit Training Command in the little search bar, the page opens up to the home page.  Click on "Photos."  You will see a division in yellow shirts running.  That is 816!  There are 6 photos of them.  I hope you find your guy in the pack!

Thank you, my sweet future daughter-in-law, for finding this for us.

The yellow shirts I'm seeing are Div 174 doing their Pride Run on June 5.

Can anyone find the pics Fancy Nancy is talikng about?

Also, Fancy Nancy, I sent you a request to be friends so I can send you a Private Message...

Hi Baldi Locks,

I found the request and accepted it.  Thanks!

I will try to copy and paste the Facebook address so you can see the pics of 816.  I am not so good on computers....Let me see what happens.

I haven't had a phone call yet--thought today would be the day.  Is anyone getting phone calls?
