Hi Mom Friends:

We have four of us  coming to our sons graduation.  But in addition to that his grandparents are coming.  So our 4 names are on the letter, the grandparents names are not.  From everything I have read and asked, it sounds as though access is guaranteed for all names listed on their letter.  For any guests that are NOT listed, they wait sort of in a "holding' area until all authorized guests are seated, THEN the additional guests who are not on the letter are able to join you.  I asked my sons recruiter about this several times and she says there is almost never an issue with seating your additional guests. Many Recruits have NO ONE coming to see them  ( sooo sad) and so there are plenty of seats.  I am trusting this information , as the grandparents are flying a long ways and have purchased their ticket as well.   So in your case perhaps the girlfriend has to just wait until all authorized guests are seated, then she can join you.

I have yet to hear of someone not getting in either.

haven't had that happen?? weird

Hey N4M's of DIV-816, PIR of 7/13/12, Sarge's Meet & Greet on Thursday, July 12th would be fun to meet up at!

http://www.navyformoms.com/events/sarge-s-meet-and-greet-23

I've heard that Sarge's is the most popular and you get the most information!  The window of time is from 5:30 to 9:00 so it could be challenging to arrive in there at at the same time, but nonetheless, thought I would throw it out there!  The Navy offers several of these around at the different hotels.  Check out the link, it will give you more scoop!

Hi Sassy.. Im in.. I RSVP'd... Thank you.. I like your photo... I love Disneyland.. Happiest Place on Earth.. I cannot for the life of me upload a photo for my N4M page... grrrr

I RSVP'd as well, hope too see everyone there! :)

By now, our SRs should have had "Live Fire" and discovered if they made expert status. They've already taken their photos too. "Hell Week" is behind them and they should experience the gas chamber this week. Next week is the week before PIR! I can't believe it. They will have to complete Battle Stations sometime that week, I would think. Then, Captain's Cup. Someone mentioned that would be 7/7. Then, we'll just wait for the "I'm a sailor," call and then we'll be worrying about what to wear/pack. It's almost here. I can't wait!!!! I'm counting down.
You're welcome. I wrote my SR today and let him know that I'll send his last letter on 7/6/12. I'm going to miss writing and receiving letters from him. I love having his handwriting on paper and some of his illustrations. I'll treasure these letters he's written me, forever!

I know.. super quiet!  where is everyone?  Haven't seen a post from any girlfriends or wife lately

Thanks for all the info momof3!! and I saw you had rsvp'd for the Sarge Meet & Greet!  It will be wonderful to see you!

I just RSVP's to Sarge's, too.  Can't wait to meet everyone!
