We have a division!!! Yay, I am super excited to get to know you all that have our SR's in the same division!

Please introduce yourselves! (no last names :)

I am Sharon. My daughter Erin is 21 and she came to bootcamp from Iowa. I live by myself, work as a dog groomer and I have a broken toe. I miss Erin so much but things are looking up! Got her form letter today. Got an 'I love you :) " on the back! I am so glad to know that Erin isn't alone. She is digging deep and working hard every day, and has your loved ones to help each other, learn from each other, and they are together in missing us like crazy too. And being a veteran, I know, their days are getting better each day too.

Next up.. our phone calls!! Next week? If not for sure the week after!. Looking forward to hearing from you all. Please friend me if ya want!

YES I wouldn't miss it for the world. I live in Boston but was born in Chicago and my relatives all still live there so making this a little family trip too along with Kyle's mom and my mom.

so sad that I am too late to order a div t shirt prior to graduation. Do you think that is something I should still pursue? Is it based on their specific div flag? and will the SR's want one as a memo?

yes kristy, the division tshirts are the same design as their division flag. I had to order one.. as Erin's design is the one they picked for the flag :)

kristy. you might try calling them  972-347-6655 and see if they can get you one in time

My son in his most recent letter said their division had earned 2 flags and are striving for 6 in total! He didn't say which 2 flags they have. As anyone else heard this news? He said they were keeping busy and he expected the next couple of weeks to fly by!

I know they have an academic flag. Don't know about the other one.

I was wondering if anyone has had any luck figuring out the BS timeline! My SR is in Ship 03 Div 218 but I believe that 217 and 218 will go through battlestations together. I have gone through the dates alot..lol..and am estimating July 4th or 5th..anyone else have any ideas?

When Erin called a couple of weeks ago, she said their next phone call would be on July 10th.......

Sharon I got a letter. What a great birthday present. She says she'll make me proud. Silly girl doesn't know how proud I am of her already. LYMTWCS

YAY! I have been holding my breath all week hoping she had sent you a letter. I was afraid to call you yesterday because I knew I wouldn't be able to NOT ask if you had gotten anything and then the surprise wouldn't have been the same! I had sent her a page with may/june/july calendar printed on it so she could mark off her days. I wrote Grandma's Birthday on it..  She is such a sweetie. I hope your birthday was awesome yesterday. I will call you when I get home from work this afternoon. LYMTAT!

I was thinking the same thing! July 4th

Sooo close.. yet.. a mile and a half away! :)

Will be so relieved when she passes that final pt test!
