Well I guess I was thinking that by the time he gets the letter & writes back we will be in GL, our mail is about a week & 2 days turnaround from when he gets our letters & we get his. Plus I was wondering if he would have the same address after PIR & since they 'move' that day I dont want a letter to get lost in the mail...hmmm maybe I should write through this week??
From what I've read we can expect our "I'm a Sailor" calls any time from today on. My son's fiance can't get calls at work but she can receive texts, so if anyone starts hearing from our 815 guys and posts here about it I will text her; she wants to leave work to take his call! Just one more week...we can't wait to board the airplane to see him and all of the other great men of 815! Have a wonderful day!
Will I meet you all at the meet and greet at Ramada next Thurs night? I can't wait for that call, but really thought it would be next Wed! What time is everyone going to head to the hall the morning of graduation?
Well, next week at this time I will probably be standing outside the gate wimpering.....with my husband hollering at me to knock it off. LOL! Only 8 short days everybody! =)
I don't know about you ladies & NavyDadBill but my husband is almost worse than me, lol so it might be me telling him to pull it together but he has teased me that he KNOWS I will be a wreck as soon as that door starts to go up & I know he is going to be right!
hoping for a letter today :)
Two letters today! One from before he called last week so alot of repeat but still good to read, he's doing well & cant wait for basic to be over. He said one of the Petty Officers told him about a six flags near the base we should visit, anyone know anything about that? Oh and a good pizza place? haha
Got our letter today too. Loves the guys but ready for BC to be done. He can't wait for pre-Buds and to really start working out again. He makes me laugh with the things he says. Love his letters. :)
It sounds like the guys in the division are of the same mind - ready for the next step, wanting to work out, etc. Mine says the guys are helpful and they are really coming together as a team. He also told my he got orders for Cali but I was so surprised I forgot the date. Does anyone remember?
