I've looked into renting cars and I cannot because 1. I don't have a credit card in my name and 2. am not 25... I looked up how far the airport is to my hotel and its about 45 mins. Thats going to cost more then renting a car almost isn't it? This is just frustrating that I am married and have a son, but cannot rent a car to visit my husband in boot camp :(

Oh thank you, but I don't get in until 8pm. Thank you again though! I am going to look into the shuttles
Hi Yeisley,
You might contact Old Sarge http://www.navyformoms.com/profile/JohnSpadaro
I have read about people who have used his shuttle service from the airport. His phone number is on his profile page.
Okay I am going to look into him, I've heard good things too. Thank you!
I'm just going to take a taxi, and its not far to walk from the navy lodge to the graduation so it shouldnt be to bad thanks!
most hotels will have a shuttle at the airport. Where are you staying? We can help if you still need it.
I asked the navy lodge if they do shuttles from the airport, but they dont. I'm just going to take a taxi thanks thought. and i decided to walk to the graduation, its only an 11 min walk and i dont have to deal with traffic or a taxi
The Navy Lodge is 1.8 miles from the Navy Lodge to Gate 8 on Ohio. Here is a Mapquest:
...by the time you get into the PIR Hall it will be about 2 miles. If you change your mind Sarge can provide taxi service...he is very helpful with the families...and I think it is like $3 or so per person...he may already have folks to pick up from the NL. He can also take you, your Sailor (...if he is able to leave right away...those with "A" school at TSC in GL will have a short while after PIR to visit and then must leave you to go check into their new command. Takes 3-5 hours. If he is flying out to "A" school the next day then his Liberty starts right away.) and son back to the Navy Lodge.
Here is his number if you would like to call him, even just to figure out would would work best for you...I would text first and he will call you back. SARGE AT 847-212-0246
