Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Just wanted to know how many of your SR's are leaving this week since they will all probably PIR together. My husband Ships July 18.

My Son left today. I just recieved a text from him...he arrived safely in Chicago! Yeah!!

Let's all keep in contact so we can meet at PIR..

My daughter leaves 17July from Portland, Oregon :)

My son leaves from California July 18th.

We drop my son off at the hotel the night of the 17th...He leaves the morning of the 18th from Kansas.. coming way too fast!!!

My husband will be at the hotel the night of the 17 also, ships next day. 

our son will leave montezuma, ks (southwestern ks) the 16th will report to hutchinson recruiting office that am, will be bused to kc, then reports to GL on the 17th.

My daughter leaves July 17th from Phoenix.

My son leaves for BC on the 18th from OKC, OK. So many mixed feelings right now. Trying to cram as many fun family times in as we can with the little time we have left.

My son is leavin July 17th for BC. We are very proud of him, he is exicited he has been waiting for 9 months now the time has come and he says he is ready. We are from Poughkeepsie,New York

My son left Great Falls, MT on July 16th.  We are very proud of him too.  He had been in the DEP program for almost 1 yr before leaving for BC.  I really hope the boys are doing well.  We have only received the "I made it safe" call and the box with his belongings, as of yet.  No mailing address or other phone calls. How about you?  Any word from your son?  Natalie

My son left for bootcamp July 16th.  We haven't received the form letter, just his belongings, at this point.  I can hardly wait to hear how he is doing.  The anticipation and worrying are getting the best of me.  I can hardly sleep and I am finding myself crying pretty often.
