I'm very crafty and have pay pal and was thinking of making ribbons for everyone if you send me like a dollar per ribbon you needed. I'd need to start pretty soon, and if their PIR changes, I'm willing to mail them.

My boyfriend is Ship 11 Division 252. I already have my airplane tickets, and have yet to get a hotel room. His recruiter told me it's safe to buy the tickets now because there is as much chance now of failing as week 8 when they hit battle station's.

So if you want one, get in contact with me and I'll get it rolling.

@Dee I think this is the only group for Div 252 I am so glad you sent those labels I hope more people will  join the group.

I think I got one of your labels.  Thanks for doing that - our recruiter gave us NONE of this info.  I would have never known about this site!  BTW, what does IT mean?

I got another letter from my SR today well it is one of the surveys I printed and sent in to him. He listed some friends he made but gave me there last names so I cant post he still has not told me  his nick name. I have to laugh his writing is not as nice as the form letter was but this could be because  he had wisdom teeth pulled and is on some really good pain killers LOL!!!  One of the questions was have you won any awards he said he thinks there division won the most IT'D award then he put just kidding and that the yelling was getting less. He said he loves what he is doing so it makes me very happy  to know he made the right decision to go into the Navy!!!

I love it!  The most IT'd...poor guys!!  So with all the last names that you can't post, did he mention first names?  There might be more than one Josh so who knows!  I'm really anxious to see who his bunkmate is!  Glad you got a letter and that he's happy!  Makes it so much easier on us to know they're doing well.  :)  I know my son got his wisdom teeth pulled too. Funny, I think I sent him the same form letter.  They're probably laughing about it.  Lol!

He only gave me 3 last names sorry I wrote him and told him how I cant post those so hoping he writes me and tells me first names or nick names My husband thinks its funny  all us moms sending our boys the same form letter my son did say he like all those questions and to keep em coming LOL!

deelee (Ship 11 Div 252)

That is awesome...I was so hoping for another letter today... maybe tomorrow. My SR sounded like he was not doing well at all in his first letter!

The most IT'd award sounds alot like something my boy would say... You lifted my spirits... Thanks for sharing!!!

You will get a letter and I hope your son will be doing better  it is really hard for them at first I hope he makes a good friend my SR said he and his bunk-mate get along great I am glad I could lift your spirits I try and share hoping others will share cause they only tell us so much and I think it is neat we moms can find info on them even though they are away MOMS KNOW ALL!   LOL!

Deelee.... don't you know it!!!!  I've always had eyes in the back of MY head!  LOL.

My SR didn't include ANYTHING about others on his letter. It was all about how BAD it was, but that's normal for him because I have always been the one he vents to and then his voice of reason.

I really hope we get another letter today!!!!

Proudmom,

It's always pretty miserable for the first few weeks until they gel together as a team.  I can guarantee you that they will though.  I went through Navy bootcamp myself so I KNOW they will all start feeling pretty good about what they're doing after the first few weeks. It just takes time.  I remember my first letter to my best friend.  It basically said, "What the heck did I do?"  Lol.  It's just a crazy, emotional time for them but they get through it and it makes them stronger.  Just think about graduation day when you'll be watching him, thinking about everything he went through, and how proud you will be of him!  There's not much that compares to that feeling of watching one of your babies out there in uniform, and knowing what he's a part of.  The happy tears will be flowing!!

Ah! My SR got IT'd for someone having a hidden granola bar so I had to laugh at your sons comment! My boyfriend is 251 though, still not sure I've seen any other 251s. Hopefully our men get through all the IT that comes their way!

My Son is 251. He said its really hard. They keep getting IT'd because theres a few that talk all the time. He said in his last letters they were making them run alot. I got a call from him Thursday but it was litterally only maybe 2 minutes. I was expecting longer. It was so hard only getting that again but I geuss it was better than nothing. I just miss him. But they are almost there. Hopefullly its getting easier for them. I also havent seen many 251's on here. Wonder why..

My SR is also 251 =) nice to meet another loved one of the division! My boyfriend told me about the same actually. Not sure if he got a phone call yet, his mom hasn't gotten one yet at least, and I told him she was top priority on the call list. I'm so glad you got to hear from your SR though, just knowing any of them got a call makes me pretty happy, but possibly not as happy as they had to have been to make it. I miss my SR too, just can't wait to see them all at PIR!
