Right place Larsonmom.  How ya doin?

yes you are hello, and welcome.

I got my first "real letter " from my daughter today She says she wants us to keep  praying for her and the girls in her Div. she feels cut off from the world, 90 females together and they are SO MEAN "I think you can imagine mom"..She got to go to Church Sun and she said she cried she misses "her" Church but going with us every Sunday has helped she doesn't like being cussed at all the time it is harder then she thought but she says she knows it is all a mind game. She doesn't get much time to write but said she would love to get some mail

Hi Permalink. I'm Lisa. My daughter Becca is also in Div 266 and I have also only received the box and form letter last week. I'm reading everyone else's letters and getting more depressed by the minute. I hope I get one tomorrow. It's my birthday and that would be a great gift.

My daughter is also in Div 266 her name is Kasey I just got a letter yesterday so hopefully you will get one soon. My name is Marie and Happy Birthday

Hi my name is Leslie My daughter is Brittany from 266 and I also got a letter on thursday. Think I met you before they left for Raleigh and again at MEPS

Is your daughter the one Kasey gave the pink shirt to

yes! I recognized the photo!

Well at least they know someone Kasey is a little homesick how about Brittany

She wrote me several letters and all of her brothers and her stepdad- so while she didn't say she was "homesick" I think the indicators are there. She joked around in her letters so I think she is ok-I miss her terribly- the first two weeks were horrible-of course they were busy so I know that helped-where I had time to dwell on it. I mailed her the picture I took of her and Kasey and she did write they they were able to stay together-and that it was a help to know at least one person.

We got a letter, but it looked a little like she had pieced thoughts together inbetween chores.  She says theres some competition among all the girls, so at least we know some things remain the same ;-)  I sincerely hope you got one on your birthday! Hang in there.
