Got our letter today.  So happy to see my son's writing on that envelope.  Now just waiting for the first letter from him. Just thought I would start a place for discussions for all the love ones of those in Ship 7 Div 259 and Div 260.

The address is now:

Ship 14 Div 07

3410 Sailor Drive

Apparently the street address changed too? This is what he gave me when we spoke. :-)

I got my letter today- He misses us!!! He even admitted tearing up when he read my letter. It sounds like he is eating like a horse! He says he loves the food! He mentioned havning a couple of good friends that he's met. One is an EPO like him and his name is Reed and the other has the nickname "Texas" because of his southern drawl.

He kept talking about how much he loves it- he has a touch RDC but thinks he is awesome. Apparently, their division got "most talkative" during swim qualifications and the RDC's have told them they are the "Red Headed Step Child" of RTC. LOL They seem to be a talkative quite active group. They are doing LOTS of IT and hours of push-ups...urgh.

Yeah, that's the street address we got has well.  I heard about the tons of IT also.  Mine has a few really good friends as well, glad to hear that.  He also says they get in trouble for talking too much.  I only have one of them's name and I think it is probably a last name so I won't mention here.

OMG we got 2 letters today and girlfriend got 2mail also.Thank God

Yeah I read a letter that I received yesterday and it was great! He told me that they have a test on July 13 (today) and was told that if they do well enough on it they will get phone calls!! I'm not sure if he meant today or not, but I'm hoping he does well! I also got the new address too.

Hey moms, do you want me to change the discussion name from Ship 7 to Ship 14?  If so, Div 260 is in Ship 14 also isn't it?  I'm assuming they won't move back to ship 7.

I'm good with it! :-) thanks!!!

Yeah, that sounds good! :)

Div 259 is calling this evening!!! Just spoke with my son for 30 minutes.

I too got a call from my son (Ship 14/Div259).  It was sooo good to hear his voice!  I hope everyone got a phone call.

Nope. Nada. Zip. He did say 260 is challenging and ALWAYS in trouble. Maybe today???? Keeping my fingers crossed.

Nope :( Still waiting on mine....

Hey I'm new to this website.. I just joined. My boyfriend is in bootcamp and he is in DIV 260
