Got our letter today.  So happy to see my son's writing on that envelope.  Now just waiting for the first letter from him. Just thought I would start a place for discussions for all the love ones of those in Ship 7 Div 259 and Div 260.

Welcome appyapricot! My boyfriend is in DIV 259, so our men are in brother divisions :) I hope we get calls soon!!!

Hey and I do too!! I got his second letter today its so bitter sweet! :)

Yeah girl, I'm just ready for August 17! So you haven't gotten a call either? I know a lot of people have, I just hope I'm not the only one that hasn't received one! Lol

Don't worry I haven't either :/ I'm dying for one. His letter today just made me anxious and made me want to talk to him so bad.

Yeah, I feel so alone without hearing his voice :( I'm hoping that I'll get a letter today. Just wish I knew why he hasn't called yet since so many guys in his division were able to make calls Tuesday night.

So sorry dukelvr.  I wish I had thought to ask if everyone was getting to call.  Hopefully you'll get a call soon.  Do you know, did he call a parent or someone else?  If so, maybe talking to them about what he said would help you out.  My son called home first, then his girlfriend.  We had texted her to make sure she could be reached before we hung up.  I hope you hear soon.

No, I know he hasn't. He told me in his letters he was going to call me and I just received a letter today :) So that made me feel a little better. I think his mom expected that he was going to call me anyway so she told him that he was a big boy and didn't need to call her lol. But it would have been nice if he got a call, no matter who it was to..his letter that I received today was dated July 15, this past Sunday. He told me in his letter that they should be receiving calls this week and he wanted to hear my voice so bad. So yeah, just waiting still :)

dukelvr and ibmom you guys 259 correct??? i'm dying to know if anyone from 260 has gotten to call????? Getting letters, guess i am getting greeding and want to talk to him. :-) They are now ending week 3 day 2. They are moving full steam now.

GoNavy my boyfriend is in 260 and he didn't get a phone call. I'm hoping they should be getting a call soon. :/

GoNavy, yes my son is in 259 and I'm pretty sure dukelvr's bf is 259 also. I have heard both divisions have very tough RDC's. I think someone on here said 260 has a RDC who's a SEAL.
Dukelvr, I don't understand why everyone didn't get a call; my son said they were working very well together, that they had pulled together has a team already. They earned their first flag for acedemics so that's great. Maybe he'll get to call this weekend. It was so good for my son. Meant alot to us, but was really good for him. Hang in there , I'll be praying for you both.

Yeah, my bf is in 259. ibmom, when did you find out about the first flag?? My boyfriend didn't tell me that, but that's awesome!! I'm hoping for a call soon...just each day that passes not hearing his voice gets harder and harder it seems :(

My son told me about the flag when we were on the phone Tuesday.  I think he said it was the Academic Flag.  Clarks1fan told me in a PM that her son told her that some in their division (also 259, her son and mine are friends) had dental when they were getting to call on Tuesday.  Did your bf have dental work he was having to get done?  Maybe that explains.  Clarks1fan, hope you didn't mind me repeating your information.
