Haven't found many folks with SRs in this same group as my son.  Thought I'd try a new discussion?  I know 266 is brother div. with 265.  There must be a bunch of ya's out there!

Congratulations to her!  :)

Hi! My son is DIV 266 Ship 09, so we have one that in common.  I got a letter today from my SR said they were all just getting off of bed rest from having wisdom teeth pulled.  This is the second week I have gotten a letter, and it makes me so happy!

I am happy to have found some 266 folks!

Does any one know if they all get there wisdom teeth pulled.  Our SR said he got his cked out mos before going to BC and they were growing in okay down like they should be coming in.  But I see a lot of posts about wisdom teeth coming out.  When he visited 2 Christmas' ago I had his fiance my daughter's pulled and he took care of her but when its you and no one to take care of you it's rough with no Tooth Fairy(us moms around).  But at least it's not like when my dad was in the service Korea no novicane just a chisel and hammer no joke in the field.  That's why I guess they take care of it now up front.

My son called yesterday and said alot of them had dental appointments yesterday.  They filled a  gap in tooth on him, but did not pull anything.  So, I think they are only pulling them if they look like they may be a problem.  Makes me feel better as he just went to the dentist before going in and I asked him about his wisdom teeth etc. in an effort to be proactive.

daughter got letter and phone call today from her SR doing well with training.

Hi Becky!

I just found the group and have a SR in 265.  :)

AND, I JUST TALKED TO HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am so excited... sorry for the profusion of punctuation!

I also received FOUR letters from her today.  Apparently, the mail room is backed up?

New to N4M in GA

Welcome jlmsmom! Glad you got to talk to your girl. Feels good, doesn't it?!

Thanks, MomOfTom -- Yes, it does!

ps 4 letters??? Wow!  Lucky duck!  I think generally girls are better writers to home than boys are.  No complaints here about the 2 letters I've received, but wouldn't mind oodles more!

Got a letter and a phone call today from my son! So excited to talk to him.  He is doing well, but sounded tired.  He said Div 265 got a flag that they will carry at graduation - so cool!  Has anyone else heard from their SR via phone call today?

Do you know what the flag was for?

I don't remember if he told me exactly, but it was for scoring really high on something they did, whether an inspection or test I don't remember.  I was just excited to talk to him!
