Got our letter today.  So happy to see my son's writing on that envelope.  Now just waiting for the first letter from him. Just thought I would start a place for discussions for all the love ones of those in Ship 7 Div 259 and Div 260.

See, he never mentioned anything about getting any dental done :( And I got a letter from him on Thursday (Dated July 15, which is a Sunday) and he still never mentioned anything about it. So that's why I feel like he probably didn't have anything done. However, I know he still has his wisdom teeth in...hopefully I'll find out something soon because I feel like I'm going crazy!

Ugh everyday I think my phone will ring and be my SR on the other end :(

Yeah, I hope the same thing too! Have you gotten a call yet?? Still waiting on my first :(

My son is in div 259 and I am still waiting for my first phone call.  I must admit, I am not good at waiting :(

Yeah, my bf is in 259 and still nothing! :( When do you usually get letters? I'm hoping for one on Thursday! But I'm wanting a phone call more...

Hi guys...so for you lucky ladies that have received phone calls, what time did they come in? I have my phone with me at all times, but was wondering if they typically called in the evening. His last letter said he was going to call Tuesday, but it came and went...so today is Tuesday a week later, and I am hoping to hear something. I sure hope he is feeling better. His last letter he was so sick but was bound and determined not to go to medical. I'm sure if he was really, really sick,  I would have received a call. No news is good news, no news is good news... that is my mantra now. LOL

GoNavy, I was thinking the same thing; about it being exactly a week later so hopefully THIS Tuesday we will get something! Apparently calls are very common starting at 5 eastern time and then a few hours after that (this is what I gather from most women getting their calls). So basically, 4:00 PM their time, I think that's when it starts...hope that helps. Still waiting on my first call too! Feel like I'm going crazy with all this waiting.

Yes I keep getting letters that say he's going to call that week but his last letter said he was going to call Tuesday too so its been a week since that so hopefully ill get a call this Tuesday.. :P

Yeah his last letter I got was on Thursday (Dated July 15) and he told me his chief told him they would get calls that week. I know some of the guys did because I spoke with some moms that have received there's. I'm just so sick of waiting!!

I know me too!!!!!

Me too!!!!  Some just told me they know how I feel because she missed her daughter that went away to college.  So different!  My daughter went off to college too but the BIGGEST difference is I could talk to her when I wanted or needed too.

Yeah definitely different! I wonder when they get to call...I'm sure most of y'all are still waiting like me? How often do you guys get letters? I had been getting them a couple times a week but haven't gotten once since last Thursday (I was expecting one this past Saturday and today because these are the days I usually get them). But I guess he's just been really busy :( Just feeling kinda lonely without hearing anything...
