Hi jd, My son got to bc July19th. He was supposed to arrive the 18th, but his flight got cancelled. I have no info about a graduation date. I was happy to get his mailing address from his recruiter, but after reading lots of comments I am actually hoping the letter I sent gets to him. I did not use block letters for his name & didn't use his middle initial. I am hoping his form letter comes soon so I can confirm before we send out more mail. I have so much to learn I guess.

Not sure how to send a friend request on here, but I will poke around more to see how.

I have no idea of the PIR date yet...I am also quite concerned about the letter I sent my daughter. It was not in block letters and I dont know if I put her middle initial on it or not. I wish we would get the form letter soon.

Hey, guys. Just wanted to let u know I joined MamaLamaDingDong's group for PIR 9/14/12. You may want to do so also. Just message her and she'll add you.

I just joined  MamaLamaDingDong's group for PIR 9/14/12 also. Not completely sure if that will be my son's PIR date as I still have not received his form letter, but the timing is about right.

thanks~i was just telling my husband about how i made a friend request~and how we become friends here and then be able to meet~possibly in person~at graduation~it was a good feeling & thought~strangers with so much in common~our children and their well being~etc.~i'm sure there will tons and tons of people at graduation~cant wait to get that info~i have been on line checking prices for the trip~i did my own calculation and it looks like around september 17th~that is 8 weeks from the day my son left~which was on the 23rd~just this past monday~which happens to be our 29th wedding anniversary~then my husband says that they may not have started boot camp right away~cause they wait to they have 80 recruits~he is an former navy man~so i'd like to think he knows what he is talking about~lol~looking forward to building our friendship (~_~)

Nicholassmomma I believe pir graduations are always on fridays

Good Morning, I was just wondering if any of you with a child in ship 12 div 295 have received the form letter yet? Anxious to get so I will know the real PIR date. Right now I am just guessing. Got his box on Tues so I was hoping to get before the end of the week, but no luck. I have been on vacation so checking my mail has been easy....it is going to be so hard waiting at work all day to come home to check my mail.

Tyler's mom, my daughter is in ship 12 div 295...no letter yet. got the box about the same time u did. its driving me crazy!!!
