298 is the next N4M support group.. All of our 816 sailors and now 298 Pre Buds Soldiers.. So if you want to keep this going, open up Pre Buds, scroll down to 298 and request permission to join.. Librarymom is in charge and she will let you in if your profile is set to private.

We have been crazy busy.. Eating steak, baked potatoes, dunkin donuts coffee, steak and shakes, Gino Pizza and so on.. We tried White Castle.. no thanks!.. didnt like it.

We went down town today and walked to Navy Pier and everywhere everywhere everywhere.... we had a great time. Tomorrow Aarons friend has to go home.. So after we take him to the airport (Ohare - His plane leaves at 9 on AA. Any suggestions on what time we should leave Waukegan-Gurnee to have him there on time? I noticed an incredible amount of traffic going in to that Airport)..
Anyway.. after we drop Jose off we are going to see the aquarium, maybe the zoo and the lakes...

No naps for us.. go go go ...

talk to you soon
Wow! I think you will need a vacation to recuperate from this busy weekend! Sounds like you have been trying some good food! Around here, we call White Castle burgers "sliders" because they are small and they slide right down!

I would allow about an hour travel time. Traffic is lighter on Sunday mornings--the stinking construction is what slows things down! There are 2 seasons here: winter and construction. Do the airlines still say to get to the airport 2 hours before the flight? Be careful in work zones on the interstates. Illinois is using cameras to fine drivers going over 45 mph in work zones. Drivers are crazy here-they go way too fast!

Anyway, take interstate 94 south and then 294 west to OHare.

Have fun tomorrow! The weekend is going by so fast!

Great weekend Navy Moms!  FAncy Nancy... Do you continue on with us in this group since your son has a different job?? yep, Selaine... went out to the new group and don't see many of our former moms on there.. mmmmm maybe they will come later.

It was a great weekend. Boy, am I tired!

I feel like a woman without a country! I think I will continue to hang out here until I find out my new division number. I should know in a couple of weeks. Processing.....
I would like to join your new group to stay in touch with my 816 buds. I will look for the group and apply.

This may sound sick, but I miss the conversations we had in our division group.
Did you get the division picture? It is amazing to see all of those fine young men lined up and perfectly positioned. What an interesting contrast to the elementary school class pictures! I will send a private message another time with a few questions, ok?
Take care! Again...it was so great to meet you!

Could you please provide me the link to the new group is this division 816 guys???

Here is the link to CLASS 298:

It is private (of course!) and you have to request to join.

Today, 7/26/12, Naval Service Training Command's FB page has pictures of Division 816 during Marlin Spike. :)
Thanks for the lead, Mom of 3. I enjoyed the pictures. I hope all of my friends from 816 and their sailors are doing well. I miss hearing from everyone but I understand that things change and things are kept quiet.

Sending my best wishes to the fine young men of 816 and their families!
