Got our letter today.  So happy to see my son's writing on that envelope.  Now just waiting for the first letter from him. Just thought I would start a place for discussions for all the love ones of those in Ship 7 Div 259 and Div 260.

Awesome! Good for you psssst01!!!!! I know that had to be the best call you've ever received in your life!

I got a letter on Friday from him telling me there would be a call Saturday if everything went well on their inspections...Saturday came and went and now we are just about finished with Sunday and still no call. I'm so bummed.

It was the best phone call ever!  He is still sick but is sure he can finish even if he is sick.  He said the first round of phone calls he was on guard duty:(  I think he said he would be able to call more from here on out! YAY!  Hopefully you will get a call soon!

Hey guys does anyone know what's going on with 260?

I haven't heard a word.  I believe there was someone on FB who described it very accurately...It is like their division has dropped off the face of the earth.  Maybe that was you.  When they first formed up I had read they had a  RDC that was a Navy Seal.  My husband thinks that could be it.

Hi everyone. How exciting to hear from our boys yesterday.(DIV259) I even got to talk to one of his friends. His last name is the name of a vacume cleaner. He is from Seattle. I had to tease him about the superbowl. We are die hard STEELER'S FANS. Does he belong to anyone? Also my son has a friend from Kentucky and his last name sounds to me very German, starts with a F and ends with a H(Our boys wrote to each of us, yours to me and mine to you). If you moms or girlfriends are on here, friend request me and we can chat and make plans to meet. I hope we can connect.

Hey all! I just wanted to let y'all know I finally got my first phone call yesterday! It was amazing, but it kinda makes me miss him more after hearing his voice. Hope everybody gets phone calls soon, especially Division 260!! It seems that nobody has gotten calls yet in that division.

Hey everyone 260 might possibly be getting a call Thursday not sure though so let's hope that they do!!

Has anyone heard any word on Div 260.  Haven't heard from our son in 2.5 weeks.  It's killing me.  NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS.  NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS.

I cannot imagine!  Sorry, my son is in 259 so I have no news for you:(  Hopefully today he will call.

heard from our son yesterday.  They are an independant steamer division (which means they get to march around without RDC's)  They have earned flags, etc.  The letter was much more  upbeat, but still he continues his countdown, as do we....

For those who I have messaged with the Battle Stations date my son gave me, someone else's son has told it starts the night before the date I have.  So if anyone get to talk to their recruit this weekend, double check.  Thanks

That's what my son told me.  I was happy so he won't be so tired for graduation!!
