Haven't found many folks with SRs in this same group as my son.  Thought I'd try a new discussion?  I know 266 is brother div. with 265.  There must be a bunch of ya's out there!

Got my Wednesday letter today too! So happy but mixed feelings came in my letter today. So am a little worried about my SR. He now has the crud that has been going around with everyone, and says he coughs up enough stuff to fill a Big GULP. That's not good. Says he is not sleeping well at all, to tall for the bed, and right next to the bathroom with the light shining on him all night. I think he is worried he won't be able to keep up now because he says that things are really picking up now. He is in 266 says it was the 27th when he wrote the letter and they are on week 4.1 and he said battle stations with be the 18th (ish). Please send good thoughts his way and if any one would like to offer to send some big Encouragement his way just let me know. I know I am probably worrying more than I should but, hey isn't that the Momma's job?

Hey flower grower! My sr is too long for his bed and has a sinus infection! Prayers for yours!

Expecting a letter today from my SR in 265.  I think that 265 & 266 are on the same scheduled.  He hasn't mentioned having any issues, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.  Will keep your SR in my prayers that he gets well soon. It's so easy to get sick when stuck with a bunch of people. Tell him to keep his hands wash as much as possible!! :)  (we mom's will always worry - it's instinct!)

Thanks MomofTom, some to you and yours!

Sounds like the crud is being shared. My SR too mentioned about his throat and nose being a mess. He's a tough kid though. Only 21 more days. So excited to see the changes in my son. The day will be here before I know it.

What exaclty is crud?

strep throat, sore throat very bad cold with cough  I have not heard of any one having the flu .

20 more days! Got a letter yesterday from my SR wishing me a happy birthday - which was last Friday.  He says he's looking forward to this week being over and can't wait to see us at graduation.  Hope everyone else has received something from their SR as well!  TGIF!

Good afternoon Mom's I have a question maybe some veterans on here might know the answer. I have read where we can meet our Sailor at the airport and see them off, does this also mean we could meet them at the airport in their A school city for a quick visit. My daughter is going to school in Pensacola and it is looking like i am not going to be able to travel to GL but I sure can travel the 100 miles to Pensacola. I am really heart torn about not being able to go to graduation. Thanks for any input

Looking for Mom of Jason A. from Georgia if your on here?????

Got a phone call from my SR on Saturday - they made it through "Hell"week he said.  He's doing good, says he has a sore throat now, but its not bad. Haven't seen anyone on in a few days - has anyone made their plans for graduation yet?

My daughter is in 266.  I'm having a hard time getting info from her because their group is possibly not graduating on time.  I have postponed buying my plane tickets because of this.  I don't know if there is a certain place everyone stays, about a rental car, about how much time we get (so i know when to plan on returning), what to wear, tickets all other kinds of things i keep seeing in post.  If anyone could help, that'd be great!!
