DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I am hearing some not so great things happening on this website.

They range from cliques to RDC's trolling so they can cause problems for our SR's.

I have decided that I don't need this site like a handful of others I have heard from that have been publicly chastised on this site for posting things as mundane as their child's first name.

This is a sad thing, considering the idea behind it is a great one.  I shall just be smart and stick with the actual Navy Website, my SR's recruiter and my SR for any information I need along with the group I have joined elsewhere that appears to have more knowledge of what is happening due to the fact there are more there sharing without fear of being talked down to or slapped in the face by someone else's words.

Shame on those of you that had less than good judgement in your actions and thoughtlessness in what you placed out in open forum towards other mothers who are just trying to make it through the next day of not hearing from their SR's.

BQB Nice to see you again and you always have the answers for people new and old. Lot of you know I'm the old lady literally around here with one son retired out of Spec Warfare and another just making CWO boot camp was so long ago for me that I tell everyone my answers are what I have learned here and that the changes have been many. This site being one of them because in the 80's when mine were in boot it wasnt here. I came aboard when the youngest son went to Afghan in 09 and I can tell you the support I got from each of you here was wonderful it made those 18mos bearable  and I made some great friends. I dont know where momma got caught up in or if her emotions were more than she could handle at the time but 99.9% of the people here will listen and help if they can they direct you to links that will answer your questions and do it repeatedly.  Angie and Anti M  having been there done that are 2 of the most knowledgable we have here and I dont think they have ever turned anyone down that had a question Craig with the depper rprogram is awesome. I am seeing many of the young ones come back to help out the newbies and that is what we need to keep going strong.

Your name is one of the ones I forgot to list. I have been haven't many "senior" moments lately - by product of seeing our sonny boy get married. Hi. How are you? :P

Ok I hate that my ears are freakin burning. I got a call and someone told me that I did it again. WTF.

Momma Bear seems to me you are no better then the people you have put down.
You don't like the site.. Leave and stop your whining. You aren't being forced to be here.

Oh. My. What was this discussion about?

Denise...LOVE IT!!! This is the best one so far!!

So glad to know that your still "hangin around".  LOL

HAHAHA!! yep.. From time to time and pop back in and see whats going on.

Life is keeping me busy.

This was gonna be the longest thread in the history of N4Ms' and now Denise ruined it. I think I'm gonna go join Mommabear on her new site.

There, there Concerneddad...here is a tissue......I got your back, sir.

DENISE!!!  Now you have really done it. I told my husband I couldn't make breakfast because we were having a serious discussion on N4M. He saw the picture and said, "No wonder Momma_Bear was outraged!"

Dense didn't ruin anything for me. I LOVE the pictures she posts...one CAN dream you know. :-)

Denise...keep the posts and pictures coming. Love ya!

Hey, Momma_Bear,

Come and join in. We are actually a very diverse bunch. Lemonelephant & me conservative, Craig & Denise outrageous. Everyone else sort of in-between. We are from every corner of the USA. One N4M friend even came to visit me in CA all the way from OK. We fight. We disagree. We make-up. We cry. We share stories of our kids. Vent.

Tell us more about your sailor. How is he doing?  How are you doing?
