Haven't found many folks with SRs in this same group as my son.  Thought I'd try a new discussion?  I know 266 is brother div. with 265.  There must be a bunch of ya's out there!

Hi!  I'm Becky from NH!

Hey HeathersMom my daughter is in 9/266 but I haven't heard anything about them not graduating on time. We have already bought our tickets and we are staying Courtyard by Marriot we haven't decided if we are going to rent a car yet.

Hi my daughter is in 266 as well and has not indicated any delay in graduation. We have purchased our tickets but are staying in between base and Chicago at Hotel Indigo. Your time with her will depend on where she will be attending A school - she will know more after PIR.

Hi, my son is also in DIV 266 I received a letter from him today and he did not mention any possible delays in their graduation either.

Mine too, and they're DEFINITELY graduating 8/24.  I heard 6 SRs got bumped back a couple of weeks, but at this stage in the game they're definitely consequating individually and not setting back a whole division.

I hear Ace Rental car is service to use., Navy Lodge 1800-628-9466 for lodging, follow the disscusions forms listed at the very first to of our PIR group keep going to view all a couple of times until you see on titled( What to wear/ Bring GPS for RTC) also another discussion section( After Libery etc.)  Hope this helps.

I have reservations at Navy Lodge, and used Enterprise for my vehicle.  Thanks for the additional information.  Hope to meet you there!

Ok, trying to update my list one final time before PIR.  I'd like to have a contact list with names/meet n greets/SRs name so that maybe we can find each other Thursday night.  It's the only free time we'll have before we're totally focused on our SAILORS, so let's try to all meet and raise a toast to a job well done raising the next generation of United States Navy!  Drop me note to my inbox and I'll devise a list and then share it with everyone who is interested!  See ya soon!

ps Prayers going out to EVERYONE for successful Battlestations!  Wouldn't you just love to be a fly on the wall?

They do "asmo" (setback) individual sailors, not whole divisions, but they will threaten the SRs with that to get them to perform well together.  The ones who are setback hopefully eventually rejoin another PIR group and finish training.  My son was asmoed when there for a week and then joined the next PIR group.....finished training and became a sailor!

Which one will you be attending?  Ramada, Sarge or Flannagans?   Im staying at the Holiday Inn Express.  I dont know which one is closer?

Hi!  Even though I'm not in your group....  I'm at the Holiday Inn Express too.  I'm going to Sarge's meet and greet.

Your group is so chatty!  I'm jealous!  My group - not so much.  I'm the only one over there...  :(  Oh well...  I'm reading everyone else's comment's and loving it!  Have a great day.  Only 9 more days to go!!  YEAH!

I don't believe I've been more excited for anything else like I am for these next 9 days to get over with and get to PIR to see all our SR's march with pride and shine with the feeling of accomplishment. Showing, not only us but showing themselves how proud they are of themselves. Congratulations to all and I couldn't be prouder!! HOOYAHH!!
