Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Son left Aug 16 th and just called!!!!!
My son left San Diego on Thursday (a day later than we were told) called with the 31 second call that afternoon.....and HE JUST CALLED from the Exchange....said they are on P Hold waiting for enough people.....expects to do real P next tues or wed and then BC. Said his head is shaved, but med and dental not done yet. They are marching....lots of yelling but he has not been singled out YET. Said food is surprisingly good. Bed (er, rack) is good. They are kept busy. He said they got to go to exchange for good marching....and he called from there!!! That was a great surprise. Thought I would share for anyone who has a son or daughter there now in P hold.

I was so shocked that he called....obviously I have no idea about the others...he is a NUKE, wonder if that means anything? Let me know when you get the box.

My son left on Thurs 8-16 from MI. We got a call at 7pm our time. Just said he was there and would send his things and write. He would get to call in 3 weeks. We got a message from him on Sun. 8-19 at about 630pm. We were at a family function. He sounded like he missed us very much. Did anyone else get another call so soon?

Oh MY....that was the time I got my phone call too (430 in Calif). My son said they marched well and got to go to the exchange for items. He said he got all they all9owed (didnt run out of money) and called us. He said the food is surprisingly good, eggs are icky, rack is ok, they yell a lot but he has not been singled out.....he said they are in HOLD waiting for enough then this week onto processing and then to bootcamp. Maybe our boys will be in the same group....seems like they were at the PX at the same time!! sure was a great surprise! Its good news that they got to go to px and call! Keep in touch. N
