So my bfs been gone for almost three weeks now and it's pretty hard. We use to spend a lot of time together, almost every day, so now him being gone is challenging at times. Just wanted to know what you guys do to keep busy because I find it hard to do anything without thinking about him.

I've been trying to stay busy by working out.. Especially by running it even just walking.. I've been trying to catch up with old friends a bit too.. I know how you feel.. My boyfriend will be gone 4 weeks next Thursday. If you ever need to talk I'm here.

Yeah, I've taken up working out as something to do. I only have one good friend I usually hang out with but she's already started school so now it seems like less things to do to keep myself busy.

Yeah I understand. If your close with family, yours or his, that can help too. Try doing something new. Maybe take up drawing or singing or dancing.. Learning and practicing will take up a lot of time.

Hmm, options. lol. We'll see how things progress as graduation gets closer.

Yeah. Are you going? I remember I asked when your man graduates and it's the same day mine does.

Well I'm going but might not for the actual graduation. He's inviting four of his family members and if he's lucky to get another pass then I'll go. It's a bummer because I'd like to see him end that part of his journey but I guess as long as I get to see him is all that matters.

So you'll just go to hang with him after?

Yeah definitely.

Is he in bootcamp? When my husband was in boot camp the first three weeks I didn't want to do anything but stay in bed and cry lol. But after the three week mark it gets better!

I kept myself busy by going to work every day, going to the gym afterwards, spending time with my family & friends, and packing!

Yeah he is in bootcamp. It just seems boring without him here lol

My boyfriend has been at bootcamp for almost 2 weeks and for me it has been the same! I didn't know what to do with myself because we were together like every day. Today Classes started again and that honestly helps and I joined the tennis team to keep myself busy to. sitting at home sucked for me, but so did hanging out with friends who just didn get it, but doing something productive has helped.

Yeah I thought classes would help too but I don't even start them until the end of Sept and that's when I'm going to see my bf. lol. So no classes to keep me occupied now
