Moms put together a bunch of questionnaires to ask SRs so they only have to reply short answer, or circle. I think they may be on main page discussions N4Ms. They're fun! My SR absolutely hates when I ask too many questions (always has), so these make it easy to get answers! She filled out the one I sent!

13 days!!!!

T-11 days and a wake up!!!

Wooo hooo!

Good morning ladies! I was able to print out my gate passes just now :)

Well ladies, I can't believe we've been writing to each other for two months (some maybe longer) now. You have been the most supportive "family " to have to go through this with. I'm sure my SR is feeling the same way about all of your SRs. I have to say you are the best friends I've met in a long time and I hope we are able to stay in touch after boot camp. I can't imagine losing all of my new found friends...There is a link on here that I've joined which is Sailors at Pensacola A school and I hope to see alot of you on there! If you have fb please email me to let me know how to find you. (No, I haven't been on this groups fb yet, and can't remember how to find us, haha!)

WOW, 10 days left. It's all going by so fast now...

See all of you at Sarge's!

Sincerely,

Stacey  :)

Thank you and see you next week!   My son will be in San Antonio for A School....I do hope that we stay in touch. Your support has been tremendous....

As slow as this journey started, this ending is flying by. Knowing what they are doing each day has helped. As a group I think we've managed to figure things out pretty well. Sharing information and getting to know everyone has been great. Having the opportunity to work thru all this with other Moms (and wives) that understand what I am going thru has been a blessing. I'm not sure I could have made it without each of you and N4M. I hope everyone visits this group occasionally and keeps us posted.

I can't wait to meet everyone at Sarge's (or at PIR)! We are almost there!

:) Barb

So while this doesn't pertain to my SR's navy life, I just had to write it out. We have right now(after what I'm about to type out happened) 10 pets in our home. 3 cats and 7 rats. Yes, I DID say rats. Like all owners, we love our pets, but we have to admit also as owners who own multiple pets, there are one or two we 'favor' during play time. Well I came home tonight to find our favorite sweet male rat Komakazi had passed away. And to my horrid surprise, our sweetest oldest female Bonnie had as well. I had to call my friend to help me take care of them because I just couldn't by myself(thank god shes a rat lover too) he hard part though, is how will I tell him??? It is actually quit possible the male died from loneliness, he LOVED my husband(of course I won't tell him that), and it was quit sudden and it breaks my heart.

Terri M~ So sorry for your pets. Wonder what could have been the cause of that..I don't think it was loneliness. DO NOT tell your husband until after PIR! Hell, maybe even later as he won't be coming home to see. Not trying to be deceitful, but you don't want anything messing him up at this stage in the game. And you don't want to mess up his celebration for graduation! As they say, just my 2 cents

Not my pets.  They are all alive and kicking.  Even my SR's ferret that is missing him dearly.  Funny the kiddos leave and we get stuck with their pets to care for.

Aughh! Sorry this message was for Questioning Serenity!  :)

Thank you Happyfeet. No, I don't plan on telling before graduation for sure. I kinda don't want to tell him till either during or after A school D: I don't want to sound deceitful either, but both are ones he loves. And I know how hard he'll take it. I just needed someone else to suggest it -.-'
