Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 339 & 340. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Good Evening!  Looking for relationships!  My son may be in some of your ship/div.  I look forward to knowing who my son will be working together with.  Please let me know if you are interested.  thanks!

Hello Lady Rea! I got 2 more letters today and Austin tells me they are doing more than previous weeks. Hes doing good and passing his tests, which I had no doubt since he's in good shape to begin with. He's adjusted nicely and that makes me very happy! He also told me that they get to call home tomorrow between 5 and 6. So be ready just in case :)
We've made reservations to stay at the navy lodge for pir on 10/19. I can't wait! I miss him so much. Im very grateful he's gotten to write 3 letters so far. Austin will be staying in great lakes for A school so we get to spend the weekend with him.

I hope you've had some communication with your SR!

Yeah I'm hoping to get a call.  It's been 6 weeks since he went.  He was held up for some reason and moved in a new ship/div.  I hope there are no more hiccups.  :)  Keep me posted. Love you learn more about Austin.  I miss him so much!  All I would love to hear is a "Hi Mom!"

And not getting a  letter this week makes me worry.  I sent so many.... I hope he got them all with the move an all.

Glad your SR is keeping in touch. :)

Thanks. My phone doesn't leave my side lol. I really hope they can call. Would be nice to talk to him.

How did you hear that?  I only hope to get one.  My son has been calling his gf.  Makes me feel a little sad.  I wish I knew when I would make sure I have a house full cheering him and encouraging him.  :) I can only hope!

Hi LadyMommaRae. I think your son might be on Ship 11, Div 339. I asked my son if they recently got a new SR in their division and they did. Does your sons name start with a B? Last name, first name, nickname? If yes, I think that's where he is. I hope he called you today, keep praying for your boy, I know I pray for them all every night and wish them good night and sweet dreams when I go look at the moon every night. Take care, LadyMommaRae. Sweet dreams.

Hi jacobsmomship, I appreciate the information.  From want I understand div 339 and 340 are shared.  So It is possible that my son with your son.  I pray every night as well.  I still have not received a call.  It's might be because I am very emotional and wouldn't want me to cry.  Keep me posted on what you hear.  It is very refreshing to know who my son is with.  Take care too!  How we become good friends! :)
