Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 339 & 340. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

my son said everyone was sick in their division...but great to hear from him

Hi everyone! Just got my call :) Was awesome to talk to my SR. Hes doing good and sounded good! Said he got his wisdom teeth pulled on Monday followed by 2 days of rest and a day of light duty. I hope you all have gotten calls too!

That''s what my daughter said too.  She got her wisdom teeth pulled and had a couple days of rest.  It was really to hear from all our SR's.

Have any of your SR's said if they've gotten any of the mail being sent to them yet?

yes, my son said that he is getting mail when i talked to him tonight. He said that it isnt coming like one at a time, he got like 5 at once, lol!

She said they got their first letters on 9/2, and then they have been getting it daily.

Got letter and phone call from my daughter!  We were able to speak for about 15mins.  She says it is tough but sounded good.

Yes, my daughter said that she has received mail

Yayy!! Heard from Brandon too tonight! He is having a blast but sounds very tired! He too got his wisdom teeth out :( But doing better now..Poor thing got dry socket too! It was so good to hear his voice. I feel so much better :) So happy right now!!

GOT MY PHONE CALL TONIGHT....yipeee!  I hope everyone has heard from their SR son or daughter...he was able to talk for about on hour...so he made his rounds calling me...his dad ...and his girl friend....what a relief...he sounds great and says the food is real good...and he said he has gotten close with all his fellow SR's that they are now like brother!  how nice to hear!  hope everyone has gotten their phone call as well...

Jacob called today, too! And I got a letter from him yesterday, I feel like the luckiest mom in the world. He said theyare all sick since their shots two weeks ago. Jacob sounded great, very talkative. Food is good, sleeps like a baby (just wishes they slept more). Good friends, he said they read parts of their letters out loud, especially the N4M parts and they all laugh. We talked for 30 min and hung up so he could call his best buddy who leaves for air force BC on Monday...he said letters are the BEST,let's keep writing moms!

What a good feeling to talk to Kyle tonight. He is doing well and sounded good. He was in great spirits!! (was very interested in his football teams) as usual!
