Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 339 & 340. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

No worries we just don't want stuff to get lost for us. A couple of us are on here through the middle of the night and sometimes we post things in wrong places too (or just plain wrong) Giggling, we don't want to lose you.

GREETINGS Ladies, Moms....I found you!! :-)

Haven't been logged into N4M's site in 10 days!!! Although I do log into my yahoo account and have been reading all the posts on there, while wondering: Why do I not see any posts from the Ship 11 DIV 339 Mom's.....??? All because this division has their own group now!!!  YEAH. I had no idea. Not until I just logged in, directly to the N4M's site. Either way, I'm still learning to navigate on this site.

Well, it's been a month (8-20). I'm still adjusting. One letter, one call. (I think I may have spoiled him with all my cards and letters.) Nevertheless, this is "still" so very challenging!! EXs: If I go in my sons' room......Here comes the tears. When I smell the last shirt he wore, here comes the tears....(I won't wash it). When I stumbled on his 1st wood shop creation today (from 2002)....Here come the tears. But he has his own life to live. And I have to trust that with time.... This WILL get better!!

I hope you're all doing well. I now need to read your posts, catch up in this group.....As always, thank you all for sharing. PEACE

Greetings DRN. :-)

Pleasure to read your reply. (I'm not on here everyday) Even at that, still learning my way around....

SO, we're practically neighbors!!! :-) And yes, I know exactly where the BHM is in Charlestown. I'm about 20 miles outside the city. I received a letter from my son yesterday. What a joy!! He souds good. And while he's not one to complain, he sounds much better than when we spoke last Thursday. Hope you've heard from your son and that he appears to be better.

I'm glad you found us BostonMom...the more the merrier.  I'm so thankful for this website and all the moms that shares their feelings and their knowledge.  I'm not on here as often as I would love to, but I do get the emails alerts on my phone, so during the day when I get those emotional moments, I start reading the comments on this site and in some way, it makes me feel closer to my SR.  I hope we all get to know each other better, just like our SRs...Take care.

Hello Gie. Why thank you. The more the merrier is right. And I completely agree....This site is such a blessing!!! You don't feel so isolated knowing that others are encountering the same feelings and emotions. For example: I feel the same way as you: when I get those emotional moments, I start reading the comments on this site and in some way, it makes me feel closer to my SR. Indeed. WELL SAID.

Have a warm and wonderful weekend. Bless you. :-)

Good Morning Ladies and Im so happy you found us BostonMom!! I too hope your son is feeling better. Brandon had his wisdom teeth pulled and had dry socket and it just broke my heart not being there to take care of him..I guess I still feel No One does it like Mom :) Im so sorry you cant make PIR :(   If you would like I would LOVE to find your son and let him use my phone to call you and tell you all about graduation!! Well 29 days Come On Oct.19th!! Yes keep your phones on you..I got a letter yesterday and Brandon said they earned another phone call I believe it was for getting a flag..They were gonna call from Set. 17th - 21st..just not sure the exact day.

Thank you so much Brandon's mom for the head's up...making sure my phone is charge and with me at all times.  Take care and have a good day...

Just when I thought I wouldn't get to talk to my son again until the "I'm a sailor" call!  I now have my phone perma-attached to my pocket! I wonder if they earned the call because they won their first flag for academics?  He said they have been studying their tails off!
