Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 339 & 340. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Hello JM.
Perhaps we'll get a call tomorrow.
I too recieved a letter yesterday with a completed questionaire....It was GREAT. So informative. And like you: I was excited to get that. Together we are happy nerds. Have a wonderful weekend. :-)
HELLO GM. Appreciate the heads up....Thank you for your post.
YES. I recieved my 2nd letter/completed questionaire. I was delighted. And the same with my son: He sounds so good in his letters this week than before!! Happy for you. What a peace of mind.
But WOW: 1st the Rikki Crud, NOW pink eye?! Agreed. Sure hope that's getting treated. Often times, that needs antibiotics. I wonder if other divsions have been encountering these issues. ???
My son has been having some challenges with his PT test. Sure hope he passes that. Otherwise, they can get set back and we Moms kinda do as well....As far as having better access to them!!! Skype, phone, email.
Hope you have a nice weekend. :-)
C'MON October 19th!!!
Good evening, ladies! I hope you all have had a great week. I got a letter from Austin and was bittersweet. Said he was homesick but he's doing good. Misses us all. I miss him so much and cannot wait until 10/19. Its so close and our S's are at their halfway point! Austin said he was chosen to be ship staff and that's a great honor!!
Hello Ladies:
Received a letter and the completed questionaire from my son yesterday. What a joy!!! BostonMom needed that. My son appears to be doing much better. (Although one never to complain.) His proudest accomplishment so far: Keeping a positive attitude. He went to Chapel & Chow on Sunday morning. They have all kinds of services. He tried the Baptist service but said the Gospel service this past Sunday was much better. How much more attend as well. How The Word was really good. It was about Jonah and the choices we make. I'm so glad that he is feeding his spirit man. He said the Chapel is is a VERY nice building and how it's such a nice escape from BootCamp. How if he could he'd stay there all day, he would. :-) Oh My: I best be careful what I post. tee hee
He's been given IT 2X so far. For having his hand in his pocket and for getting an academic question wrong asked by the RDC. YIKES. "ALL hands on deck!!" LOL
On a scale of 1-10 he circled a #7 as to how the division is functioning as a team. (10 being the best)
He hates sharks!! (With an lol) I don't know what those are but I hate them too!!! LOL
Does anyone have an SR out here by the name of Murphy or Vinneau?
Can someone direct me to where you found the questionaire that moms are sending their SRs? It sounds interesting and I would love to send it to my daughter. Thanks!!
Hello durhams. I've been trying to find it for you.....Sorry. Someone posted the link to it a few weeks ago. I liked it a lot. Even added my own ???'s. It's a quick way for your SR to provide some great information. Hopefully, someone can supply it for you real soon. Have a nice weekend.
Me too. My daughter called, I could barely hear her but it was nice to have the call. I miss her so much!
Happy Birthday to my son Brandon!!!
Yayy 340 for your phone calls today!! Would be wonderful if 339 would call too!! :)
Thanks! Maybe Monday will be a good mail day for you :)
