Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 343 & 344. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Yes thats how much I paid for mine. There is also a coin box you can purchase for about $4...you can find it on there also.

Tammie, my son is ship 14 div. 343
Thanks for the info!!

So is my son! :) Maybe they are hanging out!

I hope so!! I hope he's making some great friends!! :)

Got a 5 minute call from my SR this morning!! He passed his swimming (which he was very concerned about) so they let him call to tell me he had passed. Swimming was both our worry in him not graduating on time. Can't wait for 10/19!!!!

Hi I'm Ashley, or "ResyBear" (named after the bear he made me at build bear and dressed like him in the Navy, for my birthday right before he left for boot camp). I have been dating my SR (Res) for almost 3 years. He is 20. His A school is in Pensecola. I've received 3 letters and 2 phone calls so far. I miss him like crazy! But I'm so very proud of him! If your SR has mentioned being invited to attend church by a fellow ship mate, then they may be friends with Res, cause he has brought several guys in his division to church with him on Sundays :D. <3 Just saying! Love him so much!!

I ordered my son the challenge coin today!!!  so excited, can't wait to see it!!!  almost two weeks left!!!

I got mine today!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!! <3

I too, love the coin.  I received mine earlier in the week.  I was not really sure about doing it because of the conversation about coings being given to military by military, but  decided since this was strictly about boot camp that it would be appropriate.

Veteran Moms,

got a question for  you. Will our SR'S be wearing dress blues or dress whites.  I read somewhere that the changeover from whites to blues is October 14.  If that is the case, our PIR should be the first group to go to blues this fall.  Its really not a big deal, just curious though.  I looked at pix on the FB page from October 14 last year (2011) and they were in blues at that PIR.  Also, LaLa, is it too late to order ribbons for  10/19 PIR?

3boysmom...yesterday was the first in their dress blues.
