Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 361 & 362.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi everyone! My husband is SHIP12/DIV362 as well. HE will be doing a-school in texas. he's in as an HM. Cant wait to meet all of you amazing people!

Hi Santairis,

My son is in the same Ship/Div and is going for Hospital Corpsman.  His A school is in San Antonio.  Have you joined the FB group yet?  You can see exactly who is in our division and all the things we are planning for the Meet and Greet and for PIR.

oh hey! thats awesome! and yes I've join the Facebook group, but how can I see what everyone is up to??

Did you join the group?  You have to join it because it is a private group.  The administrators will accept you and welcome you.  You will be flooded with welcomes!   You will be able to see all the posts and will be able to go into the file and see all the things that are going on.  Let me know if you have any trouble and I will help you.  You will feel much better, guaranteed!

Hi Santairis, My son is also on Ship 12, Div 362. Have you heard from your husband?

Yes, i got his PIR letter then September 28th I received a formal 3 page letter. He said the group is full of a lot of young guys, but that they will eventually get closer. He said he's made some friends and exchanged numbers, but didn't say any names. He also said that they will be calling home soon.

can anyone tell me if  the "generic" letter from the RTC was filled-in by the recruits themselves?

some of it was. and i heard that some srs wrote a few lines on the back or something, and my bff did that for his mom when he was in boot camp, but my husband didn't do that. he was probably scared he would get in trouble.

The recruits fill in the few spots on the form letter.  It was so wonderful to see my son's handwriting.  It's funny the little things that make your heart go thump!

Hi, My son is in Div. 361. I recieved his form letter earlier this week. I can't wait to hear from him. He will be going to Culinary Specialist A-School. I read somewhere that it is now at Ft. Lee in VA. Does anyone know if that is correct? My son's recruiter had told him it was at Great Lakes. I'm very excited to be on here and to hear from other parents. This has been the longest 2 weeks!!!

great lakes. my fiance is also in div 361 and hes also going to culinary specialist A- school. and its in great lakes so my fiance and your son probably know each other lol and will be in A- school together and indeed it feels like years honestly but all we can do is support their decision all the way and be proud of our heros !

Happy Puppy
