Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 339 & 340. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

That's supposed to be OUR not out. Sorry for the typo.

Hey Everyone! It's OCT.!!! Little over 2 weeks most of us will be on our way and just as excited as can be :) I heard from Brandon Sat. night and he said everyone there is getting excited too!! They have some busy days/weeks ahead of them so I hope it will make the time go by quick for them all. My husband and I were both saying how much older Brandon already sounds :) I cant wait to see my new man..Im just so darn proud of him :)

I'm so happy you heard from Brandon Saturday. I'm glad that everyone is getting excited. The next two weeks will be fast, before we know it, we'll be hugging our new sailors...thanks for the update. Take care.
Good evening, ladies! Last night I wrote a message all about the call from my Jacob on Saturday afternoon and accidentally deleted the entire thing.. I was messaging from my phone (which is normal for me) but I was in the car coming home from a really long day trip drive....it was dark, I was tired....But Jacob called Saturday just when I sat down in a hair dressers chair; it was my first time at that salon and couldn't ask her to wait a half hour while I talked to my SR =( Was glad my adult daughter was with me to chat, but I was so jealous. Jacob is still sick with cough and crud, felt better for a few days but it returned. He said a lot are still sick, eating as healthy as he can to fight it. He was thinking next calls will be October 10th....Jacob called his dad after talking to his sister, those lucky ducks!
Is everyone going to Sarge's meet and greet? I'm so excited!
Jacob heads to Dam Neck, VA for A school, anyone else? He said he's Gibbs visit his new buds in Pensacola next summer. These guys, I just love them!
Oh, this was funny. The division had the opportunity to donate blood and although Jay has been a regular blood donor for quite a while, what inspired him to donate that day was the COOKIES after donating. That kid!

good morning everyone...time seems to be flying by and October 19 is almost here,  I have been reading about the shirts and not sure where or how to order them.   @ Brandon's mom, I bet Jacob is talking about visiting Garrett, that is where he is heading for A school...I love that they all have become such good friends, they all need that right now!

Good morning Garretsmom. You should also check with your son if he ordered them, because I was getting ready to order the shirts then I got a letter from my daughter and she said they designed the shirts and ordered one for me and her dad.
Good morning! You will also be able to get the shirts there too I believe

I received a letter today from my daughter and she says she knows your son! She said she probably knows others but they all go by their last name and she does not know everyone's first name.

My son? That's cool! I really can't wait to see that kid!!

Yes..I agree with Gie..Check with Garrett before ordering..Brandon ordered too :) Brandon is off to Pensacola too!!

Jacob will like Dam Neck Base..We just moved from Virginia Beach..I still have a son in Norfolk and a daughter in Va Bch getting ready to move to Fl. later this month!!

I have heard that Dam Neck is beautiful, I hope to visit him while he is there! Thank you for the info. Florida is nice, too...I lived in Destin for a bit, beautiful!
