Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 015 & 016.
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Everything's fine, he had to get information for his Security Clearance for his job, and we managed to squeeze in two sentences of normal conversation before he had to go. I'm sure our first letters are on their way! I forgot that they can only mail letters on Sundays, as well as write letters, unless they get special permission for writing on a weekday . They get our letters everyday, but they make us wait, on tenterhooks!
Kellyd, our kids are together...I sure hope I get a letter today. I could use a little Pick Me UP!
Hello Amy Cusick-Spears,
I was told that it was a good idea to go to the MEET and Greet at the saloon, Its called Sarge's Meet and Great. It will be held on tuesday eve. He will give us all the info we need in regards to what we can do on Thanksgiving. I also hope to spend the days following PIR with my sailor..... Gosh I miss him so. I got my first letter from him on Friday. He sounded so so mature............... What hotel did you book?
Hello Amy, Were are you coming from? My son said that he would have to have his wisdom teeth pulled also while in boot camp. He told me this weeks before he left for boot camp. I told him he was crazy. If he also has to have his pulled, just knowing that I am not with him is so hard, but of course your son will be fine and get through it without you. He will be fine. And yes, my son is in ship-13 div-015. Do you get along with your ex and his wife?
Amy Cusick-Spears I know how you feel about doing things alone. I to am going alone to chicago.. We will do this we will see our SAILORS...
